[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] La Sexóloga | The importance of sex reduced to stupidities
Welcome my dear internet sexologist travelers and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, if I am honest I do not remember how I ended up watching the film that brings us together today I only remember that the title "The Sexologist" caught my attention because I sensed that it would have a premise focused on the sexual problems that some couples may have. Just get ready to go for a consultation with a sex expert because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros sexólogos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, si les soy sincero no recuerdo como termine viendo el filme que hoy nos reúne solo recuerdo que el título “La Sexóloga” me llamo la atención debido a que intuí que tendría una premisa enfocada en los problemas sexuales que pueden llegar a tener algunas parejas. Sin más que agregar prepárense para ir a una consulta con una experta sexual pues estamos por comenzar.
The Sexologist is a Colombian film that was released this year, directed by Ángel Ayllón and produced by Take One Productions, has a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is a comedy film, the story revolves around a sexologist who focuses on trying to save the relationship 3 couples by improving the problems of their sex life, the thing is that each of these will have their own problems and paraphilias which are putting tension on their relationship, Therefore they must leave their comfort zone to be able to improve and continue with their partner.
La Sexóloga es una película colombiana que fue estrenada este año, dirigida por Ángel Ayllón y producida por Take One Productions, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 30 minutos. Es un filme de comedia, la historia gira en torno a una sexóloga la cual se centra en intentar salvar la relación 3 parejas mediante el mejoramiento de los problemas de su vida sexual, la cosa es que cada una de estas tendrá sus propios problemas y parafilias las cuales están poniendo tensión sobre su relación, por lo tanto estos deberán salir de su zona de confort para poder mejorar y seguir con su pareja.

La banda sonora no tiene nada que la haga especial así que no me extenderé en este apartado.
The construction of the world does not make sense, although it is obvious that the film tries to have a jocular touch in its plot in its somewhat different setting, the above is because on more than one occasion it focuses on the figure of the sexologist as something of utmost importance for the well-being of a relationship in a non-ironic way, This makes it incongruous with what is stated in the narrative because at all times the problems it deals with feel too imbecilic for this profession to feel serious.
La construcción de mundo no tiene sentido, si bien es obvio que el filme intenta tener un toque jocoso en su trama en su ambientación algo diferente, lo anterior es debido a que en más de una ocasión se enfoca a la figura de la sexóloga como algo de suma importancia para el bienestar de una relación de forma no irónica, esto hace que sea incongruente con lo expuesto en la narrativa debido a que en todo momento los problemas que trata se sienten demasiado imbéciles como para que esta profesión pueda sentirse seria.
The plot obviously tries to make fun but this ends up having the same grace as an ant, obviously the spicy humor is the order of the day, however this is the typical comedy that only makes fun to the prepubertos who would laugh to hear say penis or vagina, the first time it does it is funny but when it repeats the same jokes 50 times the grace is inevitably lost. The "serious" moments feel out of place because they are completely out of tune, this happens in the same way with the problems of couples and the ways to solve them. The length of the film is too much for the reduced content that presents narrative, this produces that it has
That being forced to repeat itself and become tedious, to this are added its bland plot twists that only end up embarrassing others.
La trama evidentemente intenta hacer gracia pero esta termina teniendo la misma gracia que una hormiga, evidentemente el humor picante se encuentra a la orden del día, no obstante este es la típica comedia que solo le hace gracia a los prepubertos que se reirían por escuchar decir pene o vagina, la primera vez que lo hace es gracioso pero cuando repite los mismos chistes 50 veces la gracia se pierde inevitablemente. Los momentos "serios" se sienten fuera de lugar debido a que desentonan completamente, esto pasa de igual forma con los problemas de las parejas y las formas de solucionarlos. La duración del filme es demasiada para el reducido contenido que presenta narrativa, esto produce que tenga que verse en la obligación de repetirse y tornarse tediosa, a esto se le suman sus giros argumentales sosos que solo terminan dando vergüenza ajena.
The characters as a whole have a severe mental retardation and this makes both their idiocy and their problems completely insufferable, of the 3 couples with "problems" only one really has an interesting foundation, the others are so ridiculous that they do not thank you at all they are only stupid, to this is added the performances so nefarious that they make the characters are moaning at every moment and making a face that they are suffering a heart attack for some reason; Outside of their sexual problem there is not much to highlight about the characters since individually there is nothing to highlight. The protagonist is a little more interesting but does not have enough focus despite having the most remarkable marital problem and that it really is a problem as such.
Los personajes en su totalidad tienen un retraso mental grave y esto hace que tanto su idiotez como sus problemas sean completamente insufribles, de las 3 parejas con "problemas" solo una tiene realmente un fundamento interesante, las otras son tan ridículas que no hacen gracias en absoluto solo son estúpidas, a esto se le suma las actuaciones tan nefastas que hacen que los personajes estén gimiendo a cada momento y haciendo cara de que están sufriendo un infarto por algún motivo; fuera de su problema sexual no hay mucho que destacar sobre los personajes puesto que individualmente no existe nada que destacar. La protagonista es un poco más interesante pero no tiene suficiente foco pese a tener el problema más marital más destacable y que verdaderamente es un problema como tal.
The Sexologist seems like a film made in some high school by a group of prepubescent pornography addicts, its spicy comedy is crude and stupid with only a few jokes that are really funny. This rubbish deserves 1.5 stars out of 7, it took me forever to watch this filth and I only recommend it if you want to have a strong feeling of shame for the countless nonsense that this film has in abundance.
La Sexóloga parece un filme hecho en alguna secundaria por un grupo de prepubertos adictos a la pornografía, su comedia picante es burda y estúpida siendo apenas unos pocos chistes los que realmente hacen gracia. Este bodrio merece 1.5 estrellas de 7, se me hizo eterno el estar viendo esta inmundicia y solo la recomiendo si desean tener un fuerte sentimiento de vergüenza ajena por el sin número de tonterías que tiene en abundancia este filme.
