[Movie review] [Eng | Esp] Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania
Welcome my dear quantum travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in one of my posts, a while ago I reviewed the second installment of Ant Man so the logical path was to proceed with reviewing its latest installment, which is why Today we are reunited with the film “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” a film that seemed to have very interesting concepts of its world. Without further ado, prepare to enter a universe within our universe because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros cuánticos del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en uno de mis post, hace un tiempo reseñe la segunda entrega de Ant Man por lo que el camino lógico era proceder con reseñar su última entrega, es por ello que hoy nos reúne el filme “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” un filme que parecía tener conceptos de su mundo muy interesantes. Sin más que agregar prepárense para adentrarse en un universo dentro de nuestro universo pues estamos por comenzar.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania was released in 2023, directed by Peyton Reed, produced by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Pictures, and has a duration of 2 hours and 5 minutes. It is an action and science fiction film, the story focuses on Scott Lang and Hope, who are living life after the different events they suffered, on the other hand, Scott and Hank's daughter are exploring the quantum realm and the various creatures that inhabit it, what they did not know was the dangers to which they were exposed and the consequences that this innocent exploration would entail.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania fue estrenada en 2023, dirigida por Peyton Reed, producida por Marvel Studios y Walt Disney Pictures, cuenta con una duración de 2 horas y 5 minutos. Es un filme de acción y ciencia ficción, la historia se enfoca en Scott Lang y Hope, los cuales se encuentran haciendo vida después de los diferentes acontecimientos que sufrieron, por otro lado, la hija de Scott y Hank se encuentran explorando el reino cuántico y a las diversas criaturas que habitan en el, lo que estos no sabían era los peligros a los que se expusieron y las consecuencias que esa inocente exploración conllevaría.

The soundtrack is quite good, throughout the film this section fits perfectly with the different scenes and situations within the film, which makes them stand out in an excellent way.
La banda sonora se encuentra bastante bien, a lo largo del filme este apartado encaja perfectamente con las diferentes escenas y situaciones que hay dentro de la cinta, lo que las hace destacar de excelente forma.
The construction of the world is extremely interesting, the premise of the film focuses on showing a completely different world with a totally different society, all this extremely strange and unique scenery makes the film have an extremely pleasant and unique nuance, the latter stands out even more thanks to the excellent special effects it houses.
La construcción del mundo es sumamente interesante, la premisa del filme se enfoca en mostrar un mundo completamente diferente con una sociedad totalmente distinta, toda esta escenografía sumamente extraña y única hace que la cinta tenga un matiz sumamente agradable y único, esto último destaca aún más gracias a los efectos especiales tan excelentes que alberga.
The plot is quite simple, it is basically what you can expect from a superhero film, there is a villain who is evil just because and the heroes must face him, it has one or another humorous situation that fits in a good way and that It's really funny. Narratively there is not much, although the film is enjoyable it does not mean that it follows a formula widely used in the world of cinema, the above does not directly make it a mess although it does classify it as something quite predictable and simple. The duration is quite digestible, although it is 2 hours it does not become tedious because it is quite entertaining in general terms, so it is good within what it fits.
La trama es bastante simple, la misma es básicamente lo que puedas esperar de un filme de superhéroes, existe un villano que es malvado solo porque sí y los héroes deben enfrentarse a él, tiene una que otra situación jocosa que encaja de buena forma y que verdaderamente hace gracia. Narrativamente no hay mucho, pese a que el filme sea disfrutable no quita que siga una fórmula bastante utilizada en el mundo del cine, lo anterior no la hace directamente un bodrio aunque sí la cataloga como algo bastante predecible y simple. La duración es bastante digerible, pese a que son 2 horas no se hace tediosa debido a que es bastante entretenido en líneas generales, por lo que está bien dentro de lo que cabe.
The characters are the same as always, they do not stand out for anything specific and their function is focused solely on executing actions without having any kind of background or anything similar, it is not something disastrous but it is a section that is quite simple. The above is reflected in the villain, who is also quite generic and does not stand out for anything specific.
Los personajes son lo de siempre, no destacan por nada en específico y su función se centra únicamente en ejecutar acciones sin tener ninguna clase de trasfondo ni nada que se le asemeje, no es algo nefasto pero sí es un apartado que es bastante simplón. Lo anterior es reflejado en el villano que también es bastante genérico y no destaca por nada en específico.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is a superhero film that is not bad, however, it follows an already established formula, so it is easy to perceive it as something repetitive since it does not have many interesting things, let alone from the conventional. It is for all of the above that it deserves 2.5 stars out of 7, it is entertaining and enjoyable as far as possible, but it is not something revolutionary or extremely original, it is just good.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania es un filme de superhéroes que no está mal, sin embargo, se encuentra siguiendo una fórmula ya establecida, por lo que es fácil percibirla como algo repetitivo puesto que no es que tenga muchas cosas interesantes que digamos fuera de lo convencional. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2.5 estrellas de 7, es entretenida y disfrutable dentro de lo que cabe más no es algo revolucionario ni sumamente original, es buena sin más.
