Narratively it is good although it could have been better, let me explain, the premise focuses on the protagonist having a journey of terror and self-evaluation about how he reacts to a very painful event in his life, this as an idea is interesting, however, the fact that Knowing too little about the entire situation makes the concept fall apart, although it is not boring if it feels like some information is missing to correctly understand what is happening. I consider that the film distributed its time poorly, for the reflective turn to have more weight it was necessary to delve deeper into the character and his experiences in order to empathize more easily, even the concept of having a catharsis or death allowed for many things to be explored. , a pity that it was not exploited.
La trama es interesante, a lo largo de esta se va generando intranquilidad en el espectador, y digo esto y no miedo porque realmente el filme no da miedo, te mantiene a la expectativa sobre qué es lo que va a suceder y cómo el cuarto va a sorprender pero nada más aparte de eso. Narrativamente está bien aunque pudo ser mejor, me explico, la premisa se enfoca en el protagonista teniendo un viaje de terror y autoevaluación sobre como reaccione a un suceso muy doloroso de su vida, esto como idea es interesante, sin emargo, el hecho de que se conozca muy poco de toda la situación hace que el concepto se caiga a pedazos, si bien no es aburrida si se siente como que faltase algo de información para entender correctamente lo que está pasando. Considero que el filme distribuyo mal su tiempo, para que el giro reflexivo tuviese más peso era necesario ahondar más en el personaje y en sus vivencias para así poder empatizar más fácilmente, incluso el concepto de tener una catarsis o la muerte daba para explorar muchas cosas, una lástima que no se explotase.

El protagonista se encuentra bien logrado en líneas generales, sin embargo, su mayor fallo radica en que su trasfondo no es explorado de una forma más detallada, por lo que su redención final se siente insípida, siendo su lucha el foco principal del filme se debió dar mucho más protagonismo, tomando en cuenta que es el que mueve toda la cinta la mayor parte del tiempo, nuevamente, es un buen concepto que deja muchas buenas ideas en el tintero.

1408 es un concepto muy interesante e incluso ambicioso al querer transmitir el miedo de forma indirecta sin ninguna clase de ente, asesino, etc., sin embargo, esta idea es trabajada a medias debido a que no la explota en su totalidad, ergo, la redención final pierde fuerza debido a que no se conoce de buena forma al personaje por lo que es fácil perder interés. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, tiene una premisa interesante que sin lugar a dudas entretiene pero nada más allá de ello.

Las obras del Sr. King, suelen ser bastante entretenidas. Puede que haya necesitado una mejor adaptación del libro, al hacer el filme.
Lo bueno es que no fue un fallo total, así que puede que en la próxima película tenga usted más suerte.
Estaban contándome, en estos días, de una historia de manga del tipo Isekai, en que el héroe se reencarna en una máquina expendedora. Ya antes le había comentado sobre ese tipo de obras, y cuando supe más de esta rara la historia, pensé de inmediato en hacerle el comentario.
Está en una posición alta en mi lista de las obras más raras o insólitas que pudiesen ser hechas, es como un dato bastante curioso.
Puede que las adaptaciones de King no siempre estén a la altura de su escritura, sin embargo, aún no me he topado con una adaptación nefasta que sea un completo bodrio.
Con respecto a lo otro, me encantaría que me dieses el nombre, amo ver esas cosas completamente absurdas y únicas, esperaré con ansias que me digas cómo se llama.

Esta interesante, no es de las mejores películas basadas en libros de King pero es agradable.
