Watched Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle in Cinema

It was the premiere day of Kimetsu no Yaiba in the Philippines. I decided to arrive early to buy tickets, fearing that it might sell out. Fortunately, there weren't many people around, only about ten of us, including myself, were waiting for the staff to arrive at the ticket area.

The reason I wanted to arrive early was to ensure I could get a limited edition postcard by purchasing two tickets. I also aimed to secure the best possible seat for the screening.

While I was waiting, I thought that Robinson could have put more effort into designing the hallways for Demon Slayer, similar to what other cinemas do. Ayala was handing out posters, while SM went all out with their designs. It was somewhat disappointing because there wasn't much to see aside from the LED TV displaying Kimetsu no Yaiba and a postcard.

Still, even though this was the only freebie that was handed out, I'm happy to have received it to show my support for the anime.

I chose the 4 PM screening because my cousin is only available around 2 PM after his class.

I was contemplating which seat would be the best choice because If I sit too far back, I worry that I won’t be able to see the subtitles clearly, especially since my glasses need to be replaced. On the other hand, I also don’t want to sit too close, as I’m concerned it would strain my neck when looking up.

I wanted seats in sections D and E because I thought the middle area would be perfect, but they were already taken. The C section near the stairs was empty, so I chose it and hoped it would be a suitable spot. Thankfully, it turned out to be just right! After we sat down, my cousin and I said, "ay, perfect!" 😆

All I can say is that it was the best! I laughed and wiped away tears during the touching moments. My cousin and I teased each other for crying, and I felt a bit embarrassed at first, but as I wiped my tears, I noticed other people doing the same. That made me feel less shy.

The part with the crow was hilarious! Everyone experienced the same thing we all thought someone had shouted. My cousin and I looked to our left and then at the back, only to realize it was part of the movie. Everyone laughed and exclaimed, "SAMOKA UY!" which is a common expression among Bisaya people when they are amused.

After the movie, we stepped out feeling happy and excited, discussing everything we experienced, from Douma's personality to the crow, the emotional moments, and the ladies behind us who were making side comments throughout the show. Personally, I didn’t mind their comments, I found them entertaining. but my cousin judged some of their reactions, and I agreed with him on that. Still, I understood what both my cousin and those three ladies were feeling, and I was simply happy with the overall experience.

When we came out, we were surprised by the long line of people waiting outside for the 7 PM showing. I could tell that many of them were students and workers who were only available after finishing their jobs, and I knew the cinema they were heading into would be packed.

I just want to share that Shinobu is my favorite character because she is very reserved , she's definitely my type.

I felt hurt during her scene with Douma, but at the same time, I was amused since I'm familiar with both of their voice actors. 😆

I saw Yor from Spy x Family and Tamaki Souh from Ouran fighting. 😆

Anyway, I need to stay healthy so I can live long enough to watch the next Demon Slayer movie!

THANKS FOR READING!
