Just seen a Silent Killer and can say it's a very action packed thriller that spans the attention all the way. The film's lead is played by Liam Neeson and as usual he makes for a solid performance as an intrepid and hard man who battles against evil forces. The film also stars Desmond Eastwood, who did a fine job on his part, too. Shooting and high suspense scenes, action with feelings are all in this movie and if you are interested in watching such movies then you can watch this one.

This is the tale of a former professional killer who is trying to put his violent past behind him and live a peaceful life. But, all the things don't go as prepared. Old enemies re-appear, secrets start to be revealed, and he's thrust back into a perilous world of crime, betrayal, and revenge. From the beginning of the film, tension is built. There are gun fights, explosions and serious discussions that make the audience wonder what will happen next.

The one thing I really liked in the movie is the atmosphere. All the scenes were heavy and emotional due to the dark setting, burning buildings, helicopters and heavy background music. The movie was very realistic, particularly in the action scenes. The camera work was also good, it helped me to feel the fear and pressure that the characters were experiencing.

The other thing I liked was Liam Neeson's acting. Although he has played in plenty of action films prior to this, he understands how to make his character look serious and believable. At times, I felt sorry for him, as he was portrayed in the film as a man suffering from emotional pain. He was not only battling enemies physically, but also battling guilt, fear and loneliness. This added to his character's depth and humanity.

Exciting, well plaicied action scenes. I was at times completely engrossed as the suspense was great. In one scene, there were a lot of armed men around the main character and I really didn't know how he was going to get away. One scene that really struck me was the final scene where they confront each other. It was not only emotional but also intense and satisfying. The movie was well paced in terms of action and emotion.

But the film wasn't flawless. There were parts of the story that were a bit predictable. At times I knew what was going to happen next, particularly if you've seen a lot of Hollywood action movies before. Also, there didn't seem to be a lot of fully-fleshed out characters in the support roles. I wish the movie had more time devoted to their backstory and how they fit into the plot! However, for me these problems did not take away the enjoyment.

I also enjoyed the way that the movie demonstrated the effects of violence. The Silent killer was also not just about fighting like some action movies; it showed how crime and revenge affected the emotional and personal life of people. This helped the film take a serious attitude and be more meaningful.

The film was fairly well paced. It wasn't too slow, it wasn't too fast. Each scene was designed to serve a purpose. The quieter scenes did help build up tension and set up for the next action scene. The movie's soundtrack likewise did an excellent job of setting the tone for the film.

Overall, I enjoyed watching The Silent Killer. It's not only a film about guns and violence; it's a film about surviving, regretting, trusting and redeeming. I thought the performances were good, the visuals were great and the build-up and suspense was great throughout the film. The story isn't quite original, but the acting and action are fun and will likely be remembered.

I give The Silent Killer an overall rating of 8/10. It would appeal to those who like action thrillers, particularly Liam Neeson's films. It is a film that provides tension, emotion and excitement in a simple yet effective way.

For a moment there I thought that perhaps Clint Eastwood had a child that was now in films but alas, there is no relation between the two of them.
