Su madre quien parece estar sumamente consternada pero calmada por lo que pasa es confrontada por la abogada que apoya a Ramsey, Janelle empieza a notar ciertas anomalías en su comportamiento y el por qué de la omisión de la esposa como sospechosa. A lo largo de la película vemos como el poder del dinero, pero sobre todo de los intereses comunes hace obviar evidencia, y situaciones que pueden cambiar el rumbo de todo.

Llevando así al descelance final dónde Mike es declaro inocente, y dónde su padre es visto como un monstruo, pero ahora entra en juego otra vertiente y es el amor y la pasión. Que tan dispuestos estamos hacer cualquier cosa por quien amamos y más ante amenazas e injusticias. Resuelta que Ramsey era amante de Loretta, y por ellos su empeño en defender al jover y creo que ya en este punto la historia se cuenta sola, sin embargo te deje varios detalles fuera para que puedas descubrirlo por ti mismo y así disfrutar de lo que para mí es una historia sumamente consternante.

Si alguien abusa de ti, a tal punto de volverte loco y tú decides atentar contra esa persona, sigues siendo víctima por defenderte de abusos o te conviertes en un victimario. Está película deja eso en claro, así como el arrebato de las posiciones sociales y lo oscuro que puede ser el mundo del derecho penal, dónde incluso pasas a ignorar cosas, a manipular y hasta mentir de tal modo para salvar a tu cliente.

Creo que las formas no fueron correctas, pero el aviso que estaba sufriendo está familia era absurdo, aún así su hijo siente un gran amor por su madre a quien no le importa ir a prisión por ella, pero creo que no es la reacción natural, aunque luego se justifica sus acciones. El abuso puede llevarnos a hacer cosas desenfrenadas y salir de nosotros mismos.

Es una película que vale la pena ver, que toca temas que hoy en día aún no son bien manejados por la sociedad y nisiquiera por la ley. Espero que la puedas disfrutar😊

Hello dear cinephile friends, today I want to give you my opinion about a movie that I saw recently and left me reflecting on laws, money, and people's ethics.

It is "The Evil Lawyer" a 2016 film starring Keannu Reevers, who in my opinion is not only a great actor but I think he is an extraordinary person. In this movie as his title mentions, he is a lawyer who seeks to defend his client, who is the son of one of his colleagues of having killed his own father. But while this seems cringe-inducing, the development of the film is even more so.

Although it is not a horror film, it is an intense drama, it is a thriller, where the protagonist tells us about his actions before they are executed and thus gives room for the understanding of the film, all the riddles are solved and it has a closed, complex, cruel, and reflective ending.

⚠️ALERTA DE SPOILER ⚠️Ramsey, seeks to defend this boy who supposedly killed his dad, but he, Mike doesn't want to talk to anyone. On the other hand there is Mike's mother, Loretta who is conveniently ignored by the police as the main suspect in the crime. Who also has great motives for killing her husband, since he abused her sexually and psychologically, which Ramsey, Mike and the whole circle of friends realized.

Since all the evidence points to the boy, who does not speak until late in the film, it is believed to be an easy case of first-degree murder. However, the young boy's confession changes everything, as he says that his father sexually abused him. His lawyer Ramsey knows nothing of what he tells on the stand and all decks change but Mike still has something to say.

His mother who seems to be extremely dismayed but calm about what is happening is confronted by the lawyer who supports Ramsey, Janelle begins to notice certain anomalies in his behavior and the reason for the omission of the wife as a suspect. Throughout the film we see how the power of money, but above all of common interests makes us ignore evidence, and situations that can change the course of everything.

Leading to the final outcome where Mike is declared innocent, and where his father is seen as a monster, but now comes into play another aspect and that is love and passion. How willing we are to do anything for the one we love and even more so in the face of threats and injustice. Resolved that Ramsey was Loretta's lover, and because of them his determination to defend the jover and I think at this point the story tells itself, however I left out several details so you can discover it for yourself and enjoy what for me is an extremely disturbing story.

If someone abuses you to the point of driving you crazy and you decide to attack that person, you are still a victim for defending yourself from abuse or you become a victimizer. This film makes that clear, as well as the rapture of social positions and how dark the world of criminal law can be, where you go so far as to ignore things, manipulate and even lie in such a way to save your client.

I think the forms were not correct, but the warning that this family was suffering was absurd, still her son feels a great love for his mother who does not mind going to prison for her, but I think it is not the natural reaction, although then justifies his actions. Abuse can lead us to do unbridled things and get out of ourselves.

It's a movie worth watching, it touches on issues that today are still not well handled by society and not even by the law. I hope you can enjoy it😊
