[MOVIE REVIEW] LOVE HARD: is it worth seeing?/ Qué duro es el amor, ¿Vale la pena verla?

Hola amigos, espero que todos se encuentren increíblemente bien y que estén teniendo un viernes genial, hoy les traigo una reseña de una película me hizo estresar muchísimo por distintos motivos, primeramente déjenme contarles de qué trata para decirles el motivo de mi estrés.

Natalie Bauer es una joven escritora que en base a las experiencias amorosas que tiene escribe un blog, pero su blog en la mayoría está lleno de lo mismo, fracasos amorosos, sin embargo ella tiene la convicción de que puede escribir un artículo muy diferente cuando conozca al chico de sus sueños, aunque su jefe sabe que con su suerte eso será muy difícil.

Está película es de Netflix y primeramente les quiero decir que yo tenía muchas esperanzas con esta película porque entre los actores estaban el de “Yo nunca” Darren Barnet y el actor de “Locamente millonarios” Jimmy O. Yan, claro sin dejar de lado que actúa la fantástica Nina Dobrev la actriz de diario de vampiros, o sea el elenco era una maravilla, porque también está uno de los actores de Glee realmente esperaba muchísimo de esta película pero siento que me decepcionó bastante.

This movie is from Netflix and first of all I want to tell you that I had high hopes for this movie because among the actors were the actor from "Never Have I Ever" Darren Barnet and the actor from "Crazy Millionaires" Jimmy O. Yan, of course without leaving aside that The fantastic Nina Dobrev, the actress from Vampire Diaries, is acting, that is, the cast was wonderful, because there is also one of the actors from Glee. I really expected a lot from this movie, but I feel that I was quite disappointed.

Primeramente la historia siento que no tuvo que tener el giro que tuvo, es decir, Natalie conoció a Josh Lin y al darse cuenta que la había engañado decidió darle una oportunidad para que él la ayudará a conquistar a Tag, el chico del que realmente se enamoró y al cual Josh le robó sus fotos, miren realmente eso me pareció muy mal, viajas 3000 millas y el chico que te gusta realmente estuvo fingiendo todo este tiempo ser alguien que no era, es muy catfish, pero claro se entiende que es una película pero no por eso deberían romantizar esta acción, no pueden romantizar el hecho de que te engañen, haciéndolo ver como que la persona tenía inseguridades o tenía buenas intenciones, porque en el mundo real eso no pasa, las personas que te engañan no tienen buenas intenciones, siento que esto hizo que yo no disfrutará la película. Quizás también intentaron mostrar que “En el amor el físico no importa, lo que importa es la química” pero de la forma que lo hicieron lo alejaron mucho de realidad.

First of all, I feel like the story didn't have to have the twist it had, that is, Natalie met Josh Lin and realizing that he had cheated on her, she decided to give him a chance so that he would help her conquer Tag, the boy she really loves. fell in love and whose photos Josh stole, look really that seemed very bad to me, you travel 3000 miles and the boy you really like was pretending all this time to be someone he was not, he is very catfish, but of course it is understood that he is a movie but that's not why they should romanticize this action, they can't romanticize the fact that they cheat on you, making it look like the person had insecurities or had good intentions, because in the real world that doesn't happen, the people who cheat on you don't have good intentions, I feel like this made me not enjoy the movie. Perhaps they also tried to show that "In love, the physical does not matter, what matters is the chemistry" but the way they did it, they took it far from reality.

La película tuvo material para ser una excelente película navideña, si la historia hubiese sido otra, pero esa es mi opinión personal.

The movie had material to be an excellent Christmas movie, if the story had been different, but that's my personal opinion.

Hay escenas graciosas eso no lo voy a negar, pero también hay escenas muy tediosas porque la película se basó en puras mentiras, personas mintiendo más y más sin pedir disculpas y eso no me gustó.

There are funny scenes, I'm not going to deny that, but there are also very tedious scenes because the film was based on pure lies, people lying more and more without apologizing and I didn't like that.

La ambientación y la escenografía fue muy linda, todo navideño y tierno, hasta hay una escena musical bella, pero esas escenas y esos detalles no son suficientes para salvarla de ser una mala historia.

The setting and scenery was very nice, everything Christmassy and tender, there is even a beautiful musical scene, but those scenes and those details are not enough to save it from being a bad story.

Entiendo que quizás el mensaje de la película fue: “Las personas comenten errores" pero suplantar la identidad de alguien y verlo como error y no delito me parece muy mal, prefiero una película navideña con mensajes navideños que llaman a la acción y al cambio para ser una mejor persona o para cumplir sueños.

I understand that perhaps the message of the film was: "People make mistakes" but supplanting someone's identity and seeing it as a mistake and not a crime seems very bad to me, I prefer a Christmas movie with Christmas messages that call for action and change for to be a better person or to fulfill dreams.

Ahora si hablamos sobre la actuación y los personajes podemos decir que es algo que no fue ni bueno ni malo y me refiero que habían cosas o acciones relevantes, no existía algo que te enganchará con la actuación o que te enamorará del personaje. La química en lo que se supone que eran las parejas se veía muy falsa y eso es triste porque la película no te transmite ningún sentimiento.

Now if we talk about the acting and the characters we can say that it was something that was neither good nor bad and I mean that there were relevant things or actions, there was not something that would hook you with the acting or make you fall in love with the character. The chemistry in what the couples were supposed to be looked very fake and that's sad because the movie doesn't give you any feeling.

Ay amigos, sinceramente, creo que está es la primera vez que escribo una reseña de una película que no me gustó, adoro compartir con ustedes todas las películas que me encantan, pero también hay que decir cuando una película no es buena.

Es por esto que realmente no les diría que está película vale la pena verla, en mi opinión es un 3/10 y es triste porque tenía un buen elenco pero mentiría si digo que fue buena.

This is why I wouldn't really tell you that this movie is worth seeing, in my opinion it's a 3/10 and it's sad because it had a good cast but I'd be lying if I said it was good.

Recomendación: Si quieren ver una película navideña bonita en Netflix, pueden ver un lanzamiento del 2019 que es nuevo en la plataforma, se llama Last Christmas “Otra oportunidad para amar" actúan Emilia Clarke y Henry Golding, en estos días haremos una reseña de esa película por si alguno quiere verla pero no está muy convencido pero esa película si es muy linda.
