Play it again Nathan you good old death metal man
Metalocalypse was a series that showed the world of black metal in a distorted mirror, albeit with a lot of great music .
The series was hugely popular and 4 seasons were made telling the story of the metal band Dethklok, 10 years later we got the culmination of the whole story.

In 2023( 2024 in April on hbo) there is an unexpected feature film of an animation which at the time offended everything and everyone and at the same time had an unusually great distance to itself.
The film is a continuation and also the final closure of the whole story.
It tells the story of a band and Nathan, who, knowing that the inevitable end of mankind is imminent, must create a piece of music that will cause mankind to survive, which is not easy, as it turns out that the life of the lead singer of Death mestal band is not as colourful as it might seem.

Hurt by a woman, a lack of support from his family, band mates who behave like children and fans who are fed up with him make him wonder if there is any point in continuing to be a star.
Despite the humour, this is a very good animation not only about a man in a band who has to save the world, but also about the problems stars have and how they are overwhelmed by everything.
The film slowly prepares the viewer for the final showdown, which is reminiscent of a music video from the 1980s with a heavy dose of big monster madness and litres of guts.
Despite the general brutality towards the end, this film tries to be more subdued than the frantic series Without Limits.
It tries to focus more on telling the story and closing the plot than on blasphemy ;)
As a whole, as a closure and at the same time an explanation of the whole Metalocalpyspe story, it is enjoyable to watch all the episodes before the screening to know what caused the end of the world.
The only downside to this film is the lack of iconic tracks from this band ( the intro or Aweken, which fit perfectly in one scene, nevertheless I'll give you the track here )
If you like upbeat music, yet exaggerated dialogue and slapstick humour full of vulgarities then this is the film for you ( although the series elevates everything even more)

Metalocalypse to serial, który pokazywał świat black metalu w krzywym zwierciadle choć z duża domieszka świetnej muzyki .
Serial cieszył się ogromnym zainteresowaniem i powstało aż 4 sezony opowiadającej o metalowej grupie Dethklok, po 10 latach dostaliśmy zwieńczenie całej historii.

W 2023( 2024 w kwietniu na hbo) wychodzi niespodziewanie film pełnometrażowy animacji, która obrażała swego czasu wszystko i wszystkich a przy tym miała do siebie niezwykle duży dystans.
Film jest kontynuacja i zarazem domknięciem ostatecznym całej historii.
Opowiada o o zespole i Nathanie, który wiedząc, ze nadciąga nieuchronny koniec ludzkości musi stworzyć kawałek, który spowoduje ze ludzkosc przetrwa, nie jest to łatwe gdyż okazuje się, ze życie wokalisty Death mestalowego zespołu nie jest tak kolorowe jak mogło by się wydawać.

Zraniony przez kobietę, brak oparcia w rodzinie, koledzy z zespołu zachowujący się jak dzieci oraz fani, których ma dość powodują, ze zastanawia się czy jest sens dalej być gwiazda.
Mimo otoczki humorystycznej to jest to bardzo dobra animacja nie tylko o człowieku zespołu który ma uratować świat, ale tez o problemach jakie miewają gwiazdy i tym jak są przytłoczeni wszystkim.
Film powoli przygotowuje widza na ostateczna rozgrywkę, która przypomina teledysk z lat 80 z duża domieszka szaleństwa wielkich potworów i litrów flaków.
Mimo ogólnej brutalności pod koniec to film stara się bardziej być stonowany niż szalony serial bez granic.
Stara się bardziej skupić na opowiedzeniu historii i domknięciu wątku niż na bluźnierstwie ;)
Całość jako domknięcie i jednocześnie wyjaśnienie całej historii Metalocalpyspe jest przyjemna w odbiorze jednak, żeby się nie pogubić warto przed seansem obejrzeć wszystkie odcinki by wiedzieć co spowodowało koniec świata.
Jedynym minusem tego filmu to brak ikonicznych kawałków tego zespołu ( intro bądź Aweken, który idealnie pasował w jednej scenie, mimo to ja wam tutaj podrzucę ten kawałek )
Jeśli lubicie muzykę mocniejsza, ale jednocześnie przerysowane dialogi i slapstikowy humor pełny wulgaryzmy to jest to film dla was ( choć serial jeszcze bardziej wszystko winduje)
