Spent the day pairing odd socks, A Thankless task π€£ π
Its a nasty wet day here in the UK, nothing new there then. We had hubbys dentist appointment this morning, they have leveled off his tooth so both front teeth look similar. Its a day in for me folding clothes and pairing a basket of odd socks, I hate this job but if I didn't do it hubby and my daughter would wear odd socks and I'm not having that. So its me and my 2 pups who are sound asleep on my bed whilst I'm pairing socks listening to Elvis Presley on my Alexa.
Whilst I'm busy hubby and my daughter have gone to the Cinema to watch Black Phone 2. I can't sit in the cinema unless its the reclining chairs. They both have the unlimited card so can see as many movies as they want. They watched Black Phone 1 on the TV to catch up, they both love watching movies plus gives me and my pups a few hours peace and quiet.
They arrived first, think they were hoping to get the movie to themselfs but people have started to arrive now, they have to learn to share.

The movie was a big hit, they both said it was amazing, best horror they have seen in a long time plus they both had jump scares, that's pretty unusual with hubby, my daughter said he nearly jumped off his seat at one point. No definitely not for me, I would have nightmares for weeks.
I've paired up 20 odd socks but still have a basket full of odd ones, where do they go, I'm tempted to throw the odd ones out but know this time next week I'll have another load. Its a thankless job that is never ending.
I managed to get my little jobs done, I can't do much but still try and do little bits to help out usually the little bits that I do are the jobs no one else likes so im doing my family a service.
I've just been checking the calendar to see what's happening next month such as birthday etc when it hit me OMG it's November next month. I usually have most of my Christmas presents bought but this year I have nothing in, nothing prepared. We don't buy as many presents now as we concentrate on giving my granddaughter a good Christmas and make some good memories but still like to have a few suprises in. Looks like I'll be spending the weekend online Christina shopping. Its also my youngest daughters 28th birthday in November, what the hell happened with her turning 28, where has the time gone. Mother time slow it down a little please.
Well thats Thursday over, it will soon be the weekend. Start making plans, spend as much time with your loved ones and make memories and stay safe.
Thank you for visiting. ππ
