Clickbait - TV Mini Series 2021 [Review - no spoilers]
A few days ago I was looking for a movie to watch, but could not find anything to excite me. When (reluctantly) I went to check the series, I bumped into one called 'Clickbait'
Well, if you are into digital, this is definitely a title to .. click om..
And I fell into this.
A TV mini series (8 episodes) from 2021, a thriller, psychological thriller, with a touch of mystery and some extra drama moments (I would add)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10888878/
When I started the first episode, it did grab my attention right away.
This Netflix thriller starts with a simple setting, a birthday dinner and a fight between a brother and a sister. Moments later, something shocking happens.. an ordinary family man disappears and appears in a disturbing online video. This is the ignition of many different incidents and truths that will shine in the way.
In this tense and (you can say) overall good-paced mystery, you will find yourself constantly challenging what you think you know. You will find yourself hiding in details and trying to guess what is really going one.
One of the strongest aspects of Clickbait is its central hypothesis: how much do we really know about the people closest to us? In today's digital world, our online lives often reveal only carefully selected versions of ourselves. The series explores the consequences of social media, online identities, viral content, and public judgment, raising interesting questions about trust, privacy, and how quickly assumptions can spread before the facts are known.

The sister and the wife
Tthe story unfolds through the perspectives of different characters. Each episode adding another piece to the puzzle. With every episode, new information is revealed and viewers are encouraged to reconsider their theories without ever feeling that the mystery is predictable.
It took me 2 days to watch all the episodes, and keep in mind that every episode is an apx 50 minutes one.

I am trying here not to reveal anything because I also hate spoilers.
Clickbait is a well-crafted psychological thriller that combines mystery and is thought provoking, as it makes the viewer wonder what they would do in a similar situation.
Is it for you?
If you enjoy series that keep you guessing while exploring the darker side of our connected world, this one deserves a place on your watchlist. It's a reminder that in the age of social media and AI, appearances can be misleading, and a single click can change lives forever.

And something we really need to remind ourselves of.
Do not take anything for granted, and always fight for the truth
I give this series a solid 7, if you enjoy thrillers and mystery, I think you will like it.
As it is not new, if you have already seen it, let me know below what you have thought of it.
