Unfortunately, my routine of staying up-to-date with the latest films ended a few years ago. Consequently, I've missed out on many outstanding movies. However, whenever I find a moment of leisure, I strive to catch up on these cinematic gems. My taste in movies has evolved during this time. In recent years, I've developed a preference for films that promise entertainment and laughter, adding a delightful dimension to my viewing choices.

A couple of weeks ago, I had seen some scenes of 'the hustle' on TikTok, so I decided to look it up because it looked like a fine movie.

I managed to have some free time today, so I am happy to share my review of it!

If you enjoy comedies, light movies with humor, and plot twists, then this movie is for you! If you like Ann Hathaway, then it's also a nice opportunity for you to see her in a 'different' but matching role for her.

Why I liked the movie?

The film's pace is brisk & the plot is quick, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed many humorous scenes and I should also mention a few delightful plot twists that keep you guessing. An additional intriguing aspect is the mention of Bitcoin!!! (And think of the price of Bitcoin back then in 2019!!)

"The Hustle" is a fantastic 2019 comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. They both blend their talents and deliver a modern twist on a classic story.

Anne Hathaway, as we have often seen her seems to be sophisticated and charismatic despite being a con. Her movie name is Josephine Chesterfield and is a high-class con artist.
On the other side, we find the voluptuous Rebel Wilson who goes by the name Penny Rust and is adding a perfect balance to the chic style of Josephine.

They have great chemistry together, and I felt entertained from start to finish.

The cinematography & photography were also great and captured the glamorous world of high-stakes cons. The supporting cast did add to the overall nice movie environment.

"The Hustle" blends perfectly humor, friendship, crime and .. love.

So, if you're in the mood for a light-hearted, cleverly scripted comedy with a twist, "The Hustle" is a very good choice for you!
