Losing Judgment (Perdiendo el Juicio): TV Series Review (2025)

I was so bored the previous days, I was looking for something exciting, entertaining, fun to watch. I mostly looked at comedies, even comic series - but I could not find something I like.

As I was checking out what is around, (and until the next season of Death Inc is released), I could not find anything that looked inviting.

Until I noticed this series.
One season only, Spanish - but described as a drama.

I thought I would check it out, and I do not regret a bit! (@agmoore I think you may like this too :))

This series did not receive any extra marketing campaigns but I think that it slowly finds its audience through word of mouth.

The story follows Amanda Torres a highly respected lawyer, who is happily married and expecting a baby. At the peak of her career, an unexpected psychological crisis in the courtroom changes everything.

At a blink of an eye, everything collapses around her.
She loses not only her job, here husband, but also her life.. It takes time but she does not give up.

She has passion, she has will joins a small law firm where she is showing her talent and rebuilds her professional and personal life, from the ground up.

After a terrible, terrible incident, she needs to fight hard against all, to prove the innocence of a very dear person of hers.

The story is unfolding in a very nice manner, and even if at some points the dialogues may seem a bit slow - I think you will find the suspense to feel real. Every episode ends in a way that leaves you with questions you need answers to, and even if there is a new interesting case solved in every episode, the main subject and the plot twists will get you hooked.

The performances feel authentic, by both leading and supporting roles. I think that many women will find common feelings and strives with Amanda (Elena Rivera).

The pacing is good, with enough twists to keep you interested without becoming overly dramatic.

Losing judgement is more than just a legal drama, it shows how important persistence is and how not losing judgement and staying focused, may help at the end.

It has a 6.6/10 in imdb, but I give it a solid 7/10 and looking forward tor Season 2

Hope you ll enjoy this!
