Movie Review: Office Romance [2026]

Brand new and just reviewed!

I saw this film a few days ago on Netflix, and even though it has been a while that I ve been working remote, I wanted to check it out.

With Jennifer Lopez staring, I knew that it would be a good production and a decent film. Whether you like her as a singer or actress, she sure knows how to make great appearances!

Story:

Jackie, President and CEO of Air Cruz, runs a tight ship in her business, including a rigid anti-fraternization policy for all her employees, which is severely tested when a sexy new lawyer begins working for her.

In this movie, JLo, returns to the romantic comedy genre, which also suits her right.

This is a typical rom com, which has some fun story lines and a few plot twists that give this movie a more special feel.

The story revolves around an office workplace of a successful airplane company. Here, ambition, chemistry, and awkward moments create the perfect recipe for romance and maybe even mystery. The film keeps things entertaining with interesting dialogue, and characters that you may relate with and for sure you will like most of them.

This movie has it all. A bit of humor, emotion, chemistry between the leading roles and overall I would say that the flow seems natural, making the movie enjoyable to watch.

The atmosphere throughout the movie was pleasant and I enjoyed watching it.

Dont expect the super wow movie, or a reinvention of the genre. You'll recognize some familiar romantic comedy styles and for sure you will be able to predict where the story is heading.

If you're looking for a fun movie night with laughs, and romance, Office Romance is worth adding to your watchlist.

My rating here would be definitely very close to 6/10
