Making Beautiful Memories: Siblings’ Bonding at Gullas Heights

Happy Tueday Hivers!

We rarely get the chance to go on outings with our eldest brother, especially when it comes to going to the mountains or exploring new places. He can be a bit of a homebody and would much rather stay at home than go somewhere.

Actually, we had been encouraging him for quite some time to try visiting Gullas Heights because we knew he would enjoy the relaxing atmosphere there. The cool, refreshing breeze, the beautiful overlooking view, the city lights, and the peaceful nature vibe make it a perfect place to unwind. But despite all our invitations, he never really agreed to go.

Then, last week, our niece told him that she wanted to visit Gullas Heights before her classes started. Surprisingly, he finally agreed to come along with us. We were happy that he finally gave it a chance!

Gullas Heights has plenty of dining options to choose from, ranging from affordable food stalls to more upscale restaurants. Since Dungaw is one of the newer food parks that recently opened, we decided to give it a try. We had already tried some of the other dining spots in the area, so this time, we thought it would be nice to explore something new.

The place seemed like a great choice for our sibling bonding because we could enjoy good food while taking in the cool breeze, beautiful views, and relaxing atmosphere of Gullas Heights.

We had such a funny moment when we arrived at the parking area because it was incredibly steep! As soon as we got out of the car, our niece suddenly lost her balance. Good thing I was there to hold on to her! The parking area was really sloped, so it was easy to lose your balance, especially when getting out of the vehicle.

There weren’t that many people yet when we arrived, which was actually nice because the place wasn’t too crowded. As soon as we entered the park, we immediately felt the festive atmosphere. The colorful lights, food stalls, and relaxing music create such a lively and welcoming vibe. It felt like a perfect place to unwind, enjoy good food, and spend quality time with family.

We ordered some food and a few drinks to enjoy while taking in the beautiful surroundings. This is exactly why I enjoy hanging out in places like this, the food and drinks are reasonably priced, and you get to enjoy a beautiful view at the same time.

Whenever my siblings and I get together, our conversations are always full of funny and entertaining topics that make everyone burst out laughing. We even have a brother who is naturally funny and loves cracking jokes, so he is usually the one who keeps the laughter going.

Moments like these are what make our sibling bonding extra special. It’s not always about where we go or what we eat, but about the laughter, stories, and memories we share together.
