¡Hola amigos de Hive! Hoy les traigo una reseña de una película que definitivamente entró en mi top 10 de películas favoritas, es una película que es la adaptación de mi libro favorito y desde que supe que la iban a hacer me moría por verla y ya que la vi estoy enamorado de la historia y de sus protagonistas jajaja.
Hello friends of Hive! Today I bring you a review of a movie that definitely entered my top 10 favorite movies, it's a movie that is the adaptation of my favorite book and since I knew they were going to make it I was dying to see it and since I saw it I'm in love with the story and its protagonists hahaha.
This movie is about Alex, the son of the president of the United States and Henry, the prince of England, they both get along badly but an incident at the wedding of Henry's older brother makes them both have to proceed to "damage control" and spend a lot of time together to clean up their image in front of the press, in that trance, they exchange phone numbers and start talking every day until, they fall in love and decide to have a secret romance because if people find out it would be an international scandal.

En términos generales, la película es buena, la química entre ambos es una cosa maravillosa, de verdad puedes sentir el amor que se tienen, sus escenas íntimas y de quiebre son una cosa mágica, o son muy muy buenos actores o tienen algo en la vida real, pero de verdad es lindo lo que transmiten en la pantalla, no puedo imaginar unos Alex y Henry más perfectos. El resto del cast es muy bueno también, son actores que ya algunos me gustaban desde antes y son el complemento perfecto para esta linda historia de amor prohibido.
This whole "enemies lovers" plot, I've always liked it, I love that cliché of people who get along badly and hate each other until they fall in love, I also like everything related to royalty and lately I've been interested in political issues. And, of course, I love a good romantic comedy and much more if it's a homosexual love, apart from the fact that they are actors I had already seen and liked a lot, so when they announced all this I knew it was a movie I was going to like a lot, because it has everything I like.
In general terms, the movie is good, the chemistry between the two is a wonderful thing, you can really feel the love they have for each other, their intimate and break up scenes are a magical thing, they are either very very good actors or they have something in real life, but it's really nice what they transmit on the screen, I can't imagine a more perfect Alex and Henry. The rest of the cast is also very good, they are actors that I already liked some of them before and they are the perfect complement for this beautiful story of forbidden love.

Ciertamente, hubo algunas cositas que no me gustaron mucho, y es que, eliminaron varias tramas y personajes que hay en el libro y que quería verlas en pantalla, pero imagino que era sobrecargar la película, porque el director explicó que hizo eso para darle más enfoque al amor de Henry y Alex, aun así, me hubiese gustado ver esos personajes, como la mamá de Henry o la hermana de Alex que son muy importantes en el libro y en la película no aparecen.
También la historia puede sentirse algo apresurada, porque hay varias escenas que pasan de una trama otra muy rápida y no terminan de explorar más a profundidad, pero todos esos detallitos pasan desapercibidos cuando vemos las escenas amorosas entre los protagonistas. Es una película que volvería a ver mil veces más, si la hubiesen sacado en formato serie hubiese sido muchísimo mejor, pero se agradece que al menos hayan hecho esta hermosa adaptación y que los actores sean tan maravillosos.
Certainly, there were some little things that I didn't like very much, and that is that, they eliminated several plots and characters that are in the book and that I wanted to see them on screen, but I imagine that it was overloading the movie, because the director explained that he did that to give more focus to the love of Henry and Alex, even so, I would have liked to see those characters, like Henry's mom or Alex's sister that are very important in the book and in the movie they don't appear.
Also the story can feel a bit rushed, because there are several scenes that go from one plot to another very quickly and do not end up exploring more in depth, but all those little details go unnoticed when we see the love scenes between the protagonists. It is a movie that I would watch again a thousand times more, if they had taken it out in series format it would have been much better, but it is grateful that at least they have made this beautiful adaptation and that the actors are so wonderful.
