Movie review : Summer of 69

Hello my fellow movie lovers, I'm here again with yet another amazing movie for y'all , especially my teen romance fanatics 😍. Buckle up because Summer of 69(2025) is the comedy movie you didn't know you needed and I'm rating it a solid 10 out of 10 😄. Oh yes a 10 and without any regret. Plot
Abby (Sam Morelos) is an awkward high schooler, video game streamer and a certified disaster when it comes to romance has a huge long-standing crush on Max Warren (Matt Cornett) since grade school. When she hears, Max Warren favourite position is 69, Abby with her zero bedroom experience seeks out to master this mysterious art to win Max over.

Everything starts when Abbey hears Max and his longtime girlfriend Mercedes broke up. She goes to her usual source of information Bernie the School Mascot to know everything about Max. Bernie mentions Max likes 69,So she heads to a local strip club Diamond Dolls. There she sees Santa Monica(Chloe Fineman) dance for the first time. Abby is captivated by her confidence and sexiness, unluckily she's kicked out for being underage. So Abby comes up with a brilliant plan, Hire Santa Monica to teach her all about sex and confidence for $20,000. And how does a broke high school kid get money? Obviously from streaming.

Santa Monica initially skeptical agrees to the deal because Diamonds dolls is drowning in debt and would close if the debt is not cleared. Shes desperate to pay the debt so she can become co owner with Betty the original club owner and a mother figure to the girls at the club.
What starts as a very questionable mentorship turns into an unexpectedly sweet friendship. During this time, These two girls have a wonderful time together with both helping each other.
Eventually things take a turn when Abby constantly ditches her scheduled live streams and Santa Monicas realises Abby might not be ready for any of this. They get into a big fight when Monica tells Abby she doesn't think she's ready, and Abby also reveals she doesn't have money to pay her.

Twist
You know the crazy part about this movie Abby goes through all this only to realise she wasn't ready for sex, 69 was only a rumor, Max was crushing back and also a secret fan of her streams.
