A TRAGIC LOST ON A LEAGUE MATCH

I just played my league match with Legends and it was a disaster. Arsenal vs Newcastle, and I got smashed 3:1. From the start my passing was off — like, really off. I was trying something new where I’d wait for the ball to get close to my player then hold dash to trap it properly. In theory it should give me better control, but in practice it just killed my rhythm. By the time I trapped the ball, Newcastle’s midfield was already on me. Couldn’t string two passes together without losing it.

Because of that one habit, my whole gameplay was struggling. I’d see the run, but the pass would be late or too weak. Newcastle didn’t even have to do much — they just waited for me to mess up, then punished me. Three goals I conceded because I was busy fighting my own controls instead of playing the match. I scored one consolation but it felt useless. Honestly it was painful to watch because I knew what I wanted to do, but my fingers just wouldn’t cooperate.

Now I’ve dropped from 17th to 19th on the table and I’m tired of this rubbish form lately. Every game feels the same — missed passes, slow reactions, gifting goals. I can’t keep playing like this. Think I need to go back to training mode and drill that passing + trap thing until it becomes muscle memory. No point jumping into league matches if my basics are broken. Time to lock in, else I’ll keep sinking 😩
