Hi everyone, I wanted to post about the latest music video I shot. It'll only be a quick one today because I've got a lot on. No rest for the wicked as they say. Heh Heh.

The Video
So, back in April, I filmed a music video for some friends of mine, the concept for the video itself was a kind of cult story. Which I thought was pretty cool. The location we filmed is an old manor house which is semi-derelict at the moment, so it made for an interesting looking and creepy location.

The editing process took a while as after the two days of shooting that weekend, there was a third day needed which was filmed by a second camera operator as he had a fish eye lens which made a lot of the shots very interesting. Definitely going to pick one up for myself.

Now with all of the footage, the song needed to be mixed and mastered while the edit was going on alongside it. There were a few deadlines set for the video's release but one thing after another came up which pushed the video and song mastering back a few weeks.

Then I was being evicted from my house so there was a bit of stress there, when we found the new place the move was underway as well as some work that came up with the Vikings since I've started back with them.

Last Friday however the song was completed and sent to the client for uploading, she was happy with it and so was I. I've received a lot of compliments about the video and I am pretty proud of how it turned out.

Update on What I've Been up to

So, for the last while I have been all over the place mentally and physically, but, I've settled down now. The new house is great, but it does still need a lot of work done before it's perfect. I'm buying paint, shelves and other bits and pieces for it and might go around and swap the wall plugs for ones that have the switches on them as the current ones don't have any.

When the house is ready I might do a short video tour of my swanky new office where I'll be conducting a lot of my film and writing work. It's pretty sick to have my office to be fair, I'm coming up in the world.

I have a few more film projects in the works and plenty more written work to do for the projects I've been involved with for a while now and even still more of my own personal writing here on Hive. I'll get it all done though, one piece at a time.

Great you have a new place and studio, we creative artists sooo need their own spot.

Thanks! You're right, it's great to have a space where I can go just to work on projects. It's a small room, but when I decorate it, hang shelves and put some of my stuff on display it'll be amazing!

I think I'm going to start posting more regularly now that the move is over, I want to get back into the fiction writing again.

I filmed it and edited it, but there was additional filming by another camera man on the third day. Thanks so much, I'm happy with how it turned out!
