I'm a fanatic of well funded sci-fi movies and also a fan of space fantasy such as Guardian of the Galaxy, Star Wars, Invasion, Moon, Star Trek, and many others that are beyond logical technology.

Gravity pretends to be a realistic movie of what could happen in space. Carefully captivates what it is like to be stranded in space. The attention to detail and the scientific realities are breathtaking. Although it sets a scenario where many facts about outer space are completely lost, with so many errors in physics and Earth orbits functionality.

Yet, I think there is no other space movie that is close enough to this movie. The picture has so many gorgeous scenes of our outer planet, space, darkness, loneliness; the light, the effects, the photography, the colors, are overwhelming.

In my own opinion, Gravity is one of the most underrated Science Fiction films. The cinematography is literally out of this world. The cinematography can actually be compared to the likes of Roger Deakins and Steven Spielberg.

The situation the astronauts find themselves in this movie is one of the most terrifying situations that a human could possibly be in. Even more or much more terrifying circumstances one could ever be. This movie explains a lot of the risks of being an astronaut. With great performances from Sandra Bullock and George Clooney and great dialogue too.

Should I not talk of the immersive soundtrack that really gets you too.

And the theme of the movie is such an incredible one.

In the movie we can see Ryan was trying to survive in space just as she was trying to find a reason to live following the death of her daughter. Her main thought was to keep on driving. Just as by the epiphany of the film, she learns to live for the sake of living, as reflected by Ryan driving with no destination, or driving for the sake of driving.

If you are wondering about checking out this film, there's no question. Go see it! You will not regret it.
