British actress Emily Olivia Leah Blunt was born on February 23, 1983. In addition to being nominated for three British Academy Film Awards, she has won a number of awards, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She was included among the highest-paid actresses in the world by Forbes in 2020.

I've been skeptical about writing about the movie star of this week, maybe because I don't really love her or her acting or maybe I'm not just into her movies. Judging from the theme for writing, movie star of the week I was thinking we are to write something good about the weeks star. Not until I went through the post again and found out that we are to write how we feel about the star.

You all will agree with me that Emily is a household name when it comes to Hollywood with several movies and accolades to her name. She has done well for herself too with her private and family life. But would you believe me if I tell you that I'm not really a fan of hers. Her movies don't really tickle my fancy or I get moved to go see her movies. Would you believe if I tell you that seeing the name Emily Blunt on movie posters doesn't give me the push to see that particular movie. Maybe because her acting feels below par for me. And believe me, I've seen several of her movies before I realized this or came to this conclusion. Like the recent Jungle Cruise movie she did with Dwayne Johnson, I only saw the movie because of Dwayne.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's a bad actress. For her to get to the stage she's at in life means that she good but for me she doesn't really hit the nail on the head. And also she's done so much for herself and her career, winning several awards and getting people to smile through her acting. I'm just saying for me she might be a star but she doesn't do that spark for me as a movie lover. I don't get those goosebumps I get whenever I see my other favourite movie.

We are all entitled to our several opinions about a movie star. Who I adore might be different from who you adore. That's the one thing about life and we can't dispute that.

This is my entry in this week movie star of the week which you can find here

No, she is not a household name - I asked the Bonnie Bride if she knew who Emily blunt is, and her response was - "Who?" No, she is not The Doctor. We did look her up and found she was in only one movie we have seen. One. Granted, it was Jungle Cruise, but that is the entirety of her filmography that we have seen her in.

Otherwise, nice article.

This is exactly what we're looking for, your thoughts, your feelings, and that it can't be always awesome ... that makes it even better because it proves we're only human after all.

Wow.
At a point I thought I would be going off point writing this. But you comment now has shown I was in the right track.
My post actually isn't to discredit her hardwork. She has achieved a lot I haven't. But then again I don't get the goosebumps watching her movie. That's just how I feel about her.

Thank you for reading.
