I'm not a fan of Nollywood movies, but I must confess that recently their movies are really getting to me. They're seriously improving. I've seen a lot of great movies from Nollywood and I must say Breaded Life (movie) is one of the best Nollywood has ever produced. Permit me to add God's Calling, the golden statue, Blood Sisters, Sugar Rush etc.

Okay this post is about Breaded Life let me not deviate.

Breaded combines beautifully different genres such as drama, comedy, romance, and adventure. And not just that it teaches so many life lessons. Not to forget the attention to the littlest details by the scriptwriter Biodun Stephen. Because every scene was properly and carefully Intertwined not to leave a lackluster trail. Or was it because the scriptwriter Biodun Stephen also doubled as the director of the movie. In Fact she deserves a standing ovation for a job well done.

The casting director did a wonderful job by selecting a host of method and masterly actors such as Timini Egbuson (as Sunmi), Bimbo Ademoye (as Todowede). Tina Mba (as Mrs. Cole), Bisola Aiyeola (as Aunty Agy), Lateef Adedimeji (as Jugunu), and others.

Timini Egbuson has truly grown in his craft as an actor, and it is refreshing to see him able to switch character from a spoiled rich kid to a hard-working street hustler. He did absolutely well In the movie. And as for Bimbo Ademoye one can't dispute the fact that she's is such a versatile actor, and so beautiful to watch. She embodies the character of the bread seller, who life keeps dealing a bad hand, yet she rolls with it and makes the best of it. Still baffles me how she was able to perfectly play as an Egun woman. Both the language speaking, the street nusance. Her beautiful delivery of her character is invigorating. Every single character in the movie did an excellent job. This includes Biodun Stephen again playing a cameo role. But Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson deserve the best accolades. The chemistry they both display on the screen is a thing of beauty to see.
The whole cast in Breaded Life nailed their roles effortlessly.

I also give accolades to the costume designer. It is simply awesome.

The plot of the movie is pretty much straightforward with near-perfect synchrony and beautiful.

Breaded Life is the story of Sunmi (Timini Egbuson) a spoilt young man from a rich family In his 20's. His mother (Tina Mba) is constantly frustrated with him as he lacks motivation to do anything with his life aside from enjoying life. One day he wakes up and no one around him seems to recognize him, he’s thrown out of his home and labeled a thief. He then finds himself in the ghetto with no one to help him except from the bread seller (Bimbo Ademoye) who recognizes his face.

The twist at the beginning of the movie where Sunmi's mother, Mrs. Cole, his family members, and almost all the people he knows somehow mysteriously do not remember him anymore was catchy. Hooks you to the movie and makes you want to find out what really happened.

Imagine not being remembered by any of your family and friends apart from a stranger and to worse it all not the regular kind stranger.

The movie is embellished with thinly-distributed and well-regulated background music.

The movie gives one excellent dose of different emotions, ranging; sadness, hope, anxiety, happiness, and love.

Its a movie worth watching/seeing.
