Today I will review this anime with you because it is an anime movie that I really like. I will share with you everything that I learned from this. I will share all the things that I liked and disliked about this anime. The anime movie that I will share with you today is called "The Place Promised in Our Early Days". Where love, friendship, dreams, etc. are shown very importantly. This anime is written by "Makoto Shinkai". I hope you enjoy it a lot. Let's get started.

You all know that Japan was divided. And the story is also based on the war of 1996 when Japan was divided. One of the most important things was that there was a tall tower in Hokkaido, Japan that could be seen from a long distance, even from Tokyo. The main characters of this story are three teenage girls. The three teenage girls promise to solve the mystery of this tall tower. But unfortunately, a girl named Sayuri Sawatari goes missing. Then their initiative is canceled. A few years later, Hiroki Fujisawa finds out that the missing Sayuri is in a coma and that there was a government research center where she was. Interestingly, her brain has also been studied there. The most significant reason for the research is that they want to see the parallel universe. Showing them the parallel universe is the main theme of this story.

Let's explain in more detail. This story is related to a real-life story in Japan. The time was after World War II when Japan was divided. At that time, this story began in a city called Hokkaido in this divided Japan, a huge tower was being built called Union Tower. This story also had three characters, their names were Fujisawa, Takuya Shirakawa, and Sayunka. They were three friends and they studied at school together. From the beginning, they had a big dream that they would go inside this huge tower and very well they would uncover the mystery of that tower.

In the meantime, they were working hard to repair their old plane. They were constantly trying to repair and repair this plane and constantly dreaming that they would climb up and go up to this tower. They thought that they would use this plane to climb up to this tower one day and go inside this tower and later they would be able to unravel the mystery of this tower. Unraveling the mystery of this tower was their main goal. There was also an interesting love story between them. Hiroki and Takuya loved Sayunka, but Sayunka liked Hiroki more. No matter who they liked, the three of them were always together and spent time together. The dream of the three of them was that one day they would enter this tower and unravel its mystery.

Then an incident happened, Sayunka disappeared and could not be found anywhere. Hiroki and Takuya searched for Sayunka a lot, but they could not find her. This incident creates a rift in their friendship. Hiroki and Takuya's friendship becomes distant. After that, their friendship is never the same again.

A few years later, Hiroki suddenly learns that Sayunka has been taken to a government research center and is being kept there. Here, a significant research is being conducted on Sayunka. They also learn that Sayunka is currently in a coma. Research is being conducted using her brain. One of the most significant things is that this technology is very capable of creating a parallel universe. Which is connected to the Union Tire. After knowing this, the two friends reunite and try to save Sayunka.

They think that the three of them will fulfill their dream. They dream in their minds that the three of them will repair the plane again and uncover the mystery of the tower. The two of them, after a lot of struggle and hardship, save Sayunka's life and rescue her. The three of them repair the plane again. Then they travel to the tower in that plane. Finally, they are able to destroy the tower. This means that the only purpose of destroying it is to destroy the dangerous technology. Through this journey, the bond of their friendship is strengthened again. Their old friendship is restored and the three of them are together again as before.

The Place Promised in Our Early Days is an anime movie that sets other examples of friendship. I noticed one thing very well in this story that neither time, distance, politics, nor the walls of reality can break the dreams of three friends. This anime movie was made by Makoto Shinkai. This anime movie revolves around a mysterious tower and the childhood promises and dreams of three friends. Here is the dream of a girl who fell asleep silently. You will not understand how much emotion is in this movie full of emotions unless you see it yourself. Until now we knew that love means only the feeling of love, but what I understood after watching this anime movie is that love does not mean only the feeling of love, love means waiting, sacrificing, and saying a lot of things without saying. Here is a burning example of unfinished love, Sayuri's silence. The interesting thing is that a conflict arises between Hiroki and Takuya around her because they both liked her. I researched and found that the anime movie was made in 2004. Even though it was made in 2004, its animation is great for me. Every scene of this movie is etched in my heart. This story reminds us all that every promise is not just a word, it is a responsibility. Even though politics is in the shadows in some places, human feelings are always at the center. Some people who are used to fast stories may not like it because it is a slow story, but I am sure it will not be bad at all. On the other hand, for those like me who like to immerse themselves in the story, I think this anime movie is a unique creation for them. After watching it, I feel that in our personal lives too, we may not be able to say many things due to lack of time. Even if we cannot say it, we can definitely feel it. Finally, I can say one thing. It seems to me that it is a unique taste of touching lost dreams again.
