Alice in Borderland 3 | Some Questions that need answers
Yoh! I finished watching the last season of Alice in Borderland two days ago. Oh, is that really the last season? There was a USA version teaser at the end and it made me hiss, I won’t lie, because why must they copy the pattern of Squid Game? In fact, I won’t be interested in watching if it comes out, because most times, anything copied doesn’t deliver maximally. My opinion.
In the world of fiction, anything is possible. At the end of season two, it appeared that the whole game happened when an earthquake occurred and the people went into a coma, and that’s how they saw themselves in another world. So I thought deeply: how are they going to return to the different world since it was all about a state of unconsciousness? But the great plot made it possible. Usagi, because she wanted to see her father again (whom she is always seeing in her dreams), accepted the offer to return to the game world after she was persuaded a little by RJ, who was so much interested in knowing the world of the afterlife, although he was offered a good slot for that.
When Arisu found out that his wife, Usagi had returned, he wanted to save his wife, who was pregnant and didn’t know it. That’s how he took a drug and was transported to that land as well.
All the games are fine, but I think the games of season 1 and 2 are more entertaining with heartbreaking moments. Yes, those scenes where Arisu lost his three friends in season 1 were the worst.
Some twists that didn’t get answers:
. The recruiter:
Till today, I’m yet to understand the mechanism of the recruiter. Is he really human, or does he only exist in the game world and appear as a ghost in the real world? Remember, he appeared very real to Arisu even though it was like a dream or hallucination. The movie isn’t so deeply into supernatural things, as we usually don’t see people disappearing and appearing or becoming invisible, but this recruiter was all about that, and it got me wondering how.
Is the game entertaining for the living? The game world, as it’s shown, is meant for the unconscious ones (those that are just one heartbeat away from leaving the real world entirely). How does the show entertain the hosts if they’re among the living? If the hosts are living in the dead world and get entertained there, how did they manage to get connected with the land of the living and lure Arisu and others to play the game?
Anyways, the movie is nice and I would like it if it ends there completely and doesn’t extend to the USA version that was teased.
Thanks for reading.
They messed up with this season 3 seriously.
I was just watching to see the end.
I even skipped some prolonged gaming part because they intentionally made most people like Usagi, RJ and Arisu to win.
It wasn't entertaining to me.
I wish they followed the pattern of season 1&2 of reasons why they entered the game.
So, Usagi obsession over her late death dragged her into the game again?
To me I think they messed the script with aligning with squid game.
They made RJ initial reason to look as if it, he was interested to put an end to the game but later showing he wanted the afterlife,so why was he afraid to die?
The movie ended up without having a lead, connection and purpose.
Thank you!!!
You know, I have seen a lot of hypes, equating this season 3 with past seasons.
That's a big lie, one and two were more interesting even with better games.
The afterlife and real world connections appeared a bit off track.
!hug
Yes, the ending part doesn't have connection.
I was just happy that the two couples made it alive though.
