Ashin Of The North. A Prequel to Kingdom series
Everyone I know who watched the KINGDOM series rated it as one of the best in the Korean Zombie franchise. Everyone I know who watched the season, up until today, is still hoping that a season 3, which is supposed to be the conclusion of the series, will be released, but it's looking like it's never going to happen. As for me, THE KINGDOM is the biggest of the zombie Korean series I've ever witnessed, and maybe that's because the conclusion is yet to be released.
Okay, I recently got to find out that ASHIN OF THE NORTH is the prequel of the Kingdom series. When I found out, I was pissed off because the producers knew what they were doing and decided to keep us waiting forever. Ashin Of the North was released later after the series aired and the most interesting thing is, ASHIN, who's the major character in the Ashin of the North movie, appeared at the end of the Kingdom series which made everyone that watched the series kept wondering whom the person is and what is to be discovered in the season 3 which we expected to be released earlier but hasn't come till today.

Then you need to see how the production company played with plot intelligence.
Ashin of the North is an interesting movie, where the main source of the undead in the Kingdom series originated.
Ashin's family and her entire village were wiped out, and she got angry to avenge their death. She went on to use the plant that resurrects the dead to life, and that was it; everyone she used the plan on returned to life, but in an unpredictable way: zombies.
The movie, though a little bit dull to what I expected in terms of action, still has my 7/10 rating.
I really wish Season 3 of Kingdom would be released one day to complement the whole story.
