Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2(2020). A realistic Movie

Once in a while, I navigate to Bollywood to have a feel of their interesting storylines and also those beautiful fighting scenes even though some of them appear graphically excessive. You know what I'm saying. Lol😅

When I saw this movie, Khuda Haafiz, with "Chapter 2" attached to it, I searched for Chapter 1 and didn’t see it. I wanted to back down, but no—I had a good prompting to carry on.

Sameer, played by one of my favourites in Bollywood, Vidyut Jammwal, was married to Nargis and living a sorrowful life because his wife refused to conceive, even though the doctor said they were biologically okay.

The cry of a baby missing in their home was all they were concerned about, even though they had everything money could buy. Still, they didn’t want to adopt either.

Along the line, Sameer’s friend lost his only relative(husband and wife) and was left with a young girl of 10 years. The friend got a job in another country and was finding it hard to take care of the girl until Sameer showed up and decided to take care of her until his friend returned from the job.

Initially, Nargis didn’t welcome the girl, until an event happened and changed her attitude towards her. Their home boomed with joy when they finally adopted the girl legally.

The only missing part of their home was found, and they were living in heaven on earth.

Then one day, the girl got kidnapped in school by some stubborn students who targeted another girl that the little girl was with, and they kidnapped the two.

Yes, ordinarily, one could predict the next actions and how the movie would end from this spot but the twist blew my mind away. The two girls were ræped. Yes, including the little girl of 10years. Can you imagine that! The older one survived and the little girl died. I went madddd here!

Now from this point, you'll feel like you can predict the rest stories but no, it took another turn when the police, after getting a slight clue of the students who were responsible for the acts, they drew back because they were children of the most dreaded, unkillable drug lord in the city, a lady actually, who everyone pays homage to. With Sameer having all the evidence of the students that brought sorrow to his household, he couldn't do anything and was even arrested and imprisoned.

Yeah, at the moment, I felt the script writer took it very far because I wanted a very straightforward revenge since Bollywood has a way of making their heroes 'unkillable'. But this one was on a very realistic story base, exactly what we're experiencing in the world today, where the people in power do all sorts of things and yet they can't be touched. Let me not spoil it. Watch it to see what's next in the movie.

Opinions on character development, graphics and storyline.

I think I have mentioned how the storyline is a realistic one already. The storyline coupled with the acting is filled with emotions especially when the little girl was found dead in the bush. I felt really bad because, under regular movie circumstances, the little girl was supposed to have stayed alive.

Another part of the storyline that shocked me was when Sameer found the boy who ræped the girl, a commoner's son who's walking under the drug lord. This is not the drug lord's son who spearheaded everything. The boy did the evil act because he was forced by his friends to do it. Sameer still dæggered the boy mercilessly even when he was pleading and confessing not to kill. Oh, poor boy!

The characters were so good and fitting to their roles.

The graphics are okay too. There was not too much of the Bollywood magic in the movie. The fighting scenes were catchy and appeared original, especially the prison fight.

My rating of this movie is 9/10. I would have given it a 10/10 but the title spoiled it, especially with the "chapter 2" attachment. If there's a "chapter 1", they shouldn't make it hidden.

Thanks for reading.
