Warrior Baek Dong Soo

Greetings people!

I'm the type that uses two months to complete a movie series but I'd be watching it at my leisure, that's one of the reasons that make me to prefer download to watch to streaming.

I came across this South Korea series, Warrior Baek Dong Soo from my brother, he's a Kdrama lover too anytime I sees I'm watching, I always tells him save them for me.
This isn't your normal movie review but a brief of things I like about the movie

The movie was released in the year 2011 and and has just 29 episodes with 124mb as maximum size for each episodes

From the start of the movie, Baek so-Geone(Baek Don Soo's father) committed treason and was sentenced to death by beheading but before then, his wife was pregnant, after his death, the wife tried to cover the pregnancy by tying her tummy.
When the child was born, the Community heard and decided to kill the baby too by throwing it into a boiling hot water but Gwa Terk begged them not to do that, instead he offered to cut off his hand for the exchange of the baby and the judges agreed. That's how the baby was left alive. He grew up with his body deformed due to how his mother treated her tummy when she was pregnant, but later got relieved of the deformity when he was growing up

There's another child called Yeo Woon, when he was born, the dad tried to slaughter him because he saw the fate of the boy as a killer which he didn't want his offspring to be. This boy, Yeo Woon met the leader of the known assassin on his way running away from the dad, this leader adopted him to his group, trained him and gave him the first assignment of killing his dad which was done in a trickish way by him

At the early years of both boys(Baek Dong Soo and Yeo Woon), they got adopted by SaMo, who brought them up till their adult age. While Baek Dong Soo was saving people, Yeo was assassinating people. Yeo was doing the assassination on a low-key and no one knows untill it get the point that he was made the leader of the assassins group. He was not just a dangerous assassin but the a very good swordman.

Actions

The movie was full of actions and fights from the start till the end. There was always internal war in the palace with a lot of deaths. The crown prince was killed by assassins leader after a thorough endless war. The child of the crown prince became heir to the throne and was tried to be killed countless times just like his father but Baek Dong Soo took it upon himself to protect the prince waging a lot of machetes.

Suspense

Kdramas are very known for suspense and this movie was not short of it.
The first part that captured my mind was when the crown Prince was being chased by assassins, he fought but couldn't withstand them. Baek Dong Soo appeared on the scene and dragged him inside a deep well filled with water. The assassins poured fuel inside the water and put fire. They shot arrows to the water too and they Concluded that they've killed them. But somehow, the Prince and Baek Dong Soo swam out of the well in a river. How? 🏋️

Emotions!

It was filled with emotions, not majorly the "girl to guy" love but the feelings of distrust from Yen Woo, who stayed together with Baek Dong Soo and others in their early days but turned to an assassin which he tried different times to pull out from the assassin group but he couldn't. Just like what his father saw from the start...he was destined to kill.

Yeo Woo

Yeo was sent to kill Baek Dong Soo several times but anytime he gets there, he'll break up and couldn't do anything due to the bond they had in their childhood days.

But Yeo was killed by Baek Dong Soo which was the worst emotional part of the movie. It was never intended, Baek had pleaded for Yeo to surrender but he refused..he said the only means for him to leave assassination is to die by Baek's sword.
