I absolutely loved reading this -it brought back so many memories. I've actually watched Final Destination from season 1 to 5 years ago, and just like you, I felt that lingering tension and unease after each movie. This year, before watching Bloodlines, I rewatched all previous seasons again and it still had the same eerie impact. It's wild how the franchise doesn't rely on jumpscare but instead plays with your mind through how possible the deaths feel
I completely relate to what you said about near-miss moments in real life making you wonder.... like, did I just dodge something? 😳 And yes, the way the series reminds you that life can change in a split second really sticks with you. It's more than just horror -it's a psychological reflection
You captured the essence of Final Destination perfectly
Yesss, you get IT.... 🫣 It’s so much more than HORROR, it messes with your head in the best (worst?) way. Glad I’m not the only one SIDE eyeing real life near misses like 👀💀
