CineTV Contest #40 // Tom Hanks favorite movie; Bachelor Party. [Eng - Esp]

I love to participate in this dynamic of contests proposed by the great community of @CineTV; this time our friends invite us to share the favorite movie of one of the actors with the greatest career in the film industry, personified in the legendary Tom Hanks. Constest Actually it is very difficult to select just one, but despite this, when I read the rules I knew which one I was going to talk about. It is one of his first films and it is called "Bachelor Party".

Me encanta participar en esta dinámica de concursos planteados por la gran comunidad de @CineTV; en esta ocasión nuestros amigos nos invitan a compartir la película favorita, de uno de los actores de mayor trayectoria en la industria del cine, personificado en el mítico Tom Hanks. Constest En realidad resulta muy difícil seleccionar solo una, pero a pesar de esto, cuando leí las normas supe de cual les iba a hablar. Se trata de uno de sus primeros trabajos en el cine y es llamada "Bachelor Party" o Despedida de soltero.

The decision is simple, I think it has been one of the films that is totally different from the others and it is about the beginnings of the great actor we know today. I think it's totally normal that we all have to evolve throughout our lives; and boy, Tom has done it, but looking back, we can find this work of art, funny, daring and rude ha,ha,ha. Because even in this kind of situation Tom does excellently well.

La decisión es sencilla, creo que ha sido una de las películas que es totalmente distinta a las demás y se trata de los inicios del gran actor que conocemos hoy. Considero que es totalmente normal que todos tengamos que evolucionar a lo largo de nuestras vidas; y vaya! que Tom lo ha hecho, sin embargo al mirar en en retrospectiva, nos podemos encontrar con esta obra de arte, divertida, atrevida y grosera ja,ja,ja. Porque incluso hasta en este tipo de situaciones Tom lo hace excelentemente bien.

Among the many things that make this film something special, is that in those years there were no supervised schedules on TV and we could watch it on national channels ha,ha,ha,ha. But taking a deep look at the film, we can see the true essence of the crazy youth of those years; well, that's how they sold us what an American style party meant heh heh heh. An atmosphere full of excesses, lots of drugs, alcohol and half-naked women, all in the same apartment.

Entre las muchas cosas que hacen de esta cinta algo especial, es que en esos años no existían los horarios supervisados en la TV y podíamos verla en los canales nacionales ja,ja,ja. Pero haciendo una mirada profunda de la cinta, en ésta observamos la verdadera esencia de la juventud alocada de aquellos años; bueno así nos vendían lo que significaba una fiesta al estilo americano je,je. Un ambiente cargado de excesos a más no poder, muchas drogas, alcohol y mujeres semidesnudas, todo en un mismo apartamento.

In this story of madness and disorder of all kinds, Tom Hanks plays Rick, an ordinary guy who, precisely because of his originality, wins the heart of an upper-class girl whose parents obviously don't approve of their relationship. En esta historia de locuras y desordenes de todo tipo, Tom Hanks encarna a Rick, un tipo común y corriente que precisamente por su originalidad, conquista el corazón de una chica de clase alta cuyos padres obviamente, no aprueban su relación. Pero no se trata de una trama de poses sobre-actuadas sino más bien de una versión muy clara de la juventud desenfrenada, de una época en la que los muchachos podían acceder al alcohol y drogas, con relativa facilidad (Bueno, parece que aún esto sucede ja,ja,ja).

But it turns out that good Rick has some friends who are the bane of any human being, a whole cocktail of personalities that form a group as heterogeneous as crazy. There was a guy obsessed with sex, an envious, a liar, a serious doctor and even a depressive guy who blames himself for everything that happens around him. With a group of friends like that, any father would be reluctant to marry his daughter, don't you think?

Pero resulta que el buen Rick, tiene unos amigos que son la perdición para cualquier ser humano, todo un coctel de personalidades que forman un grupo tan heterogéneo como alocado. Allí tenían un tipo obsesionado con el sexo, un envidioso, un mentiroso, un doctor todo serio y hasta un tipo todo depresivo que se echa la culpa de todo lo que sucede a su alrededor. Con un grupo de amigos así, cualquier padre estaría en desacuerdo para casarlo con su hija y tenerlo como familia ¿no creen?

I truly believe that Hanks brought a great charisma to the character of Rick, so much so that I can't imagine another actor of that time in that interpretation; Bachelor Party is one of the pioneer films in terms of partying, to the point that I firmly believe that its counterparts "American Pie, Supercool or Can't Hardly Wait", don't even reach its heels ha,ha,ha. And as if that wasn't enough, at the end of the film there is a message of fidelity, that not everything is about drinking and partying, but that many times there are friends who would like to have a stable relationship like Rick and Debbie.

De verdad creo que Hanks le aportó un gran carisma al personaje de Rick, tanto así que no imagino a otro actor de esa época en esa interpretación; Bachelor Party es una de las películas pioneras en cuanto a fiestas de desmadre, al término de que considero firmemente que sus homólogas "American Pie, Supercool o Can´t Hardly Wait", no le llegan siquiera a los talones ja,ja,ja. Y como si fuese poco, al final de la cinta hay un mensaje de fidelidad, de que no todo es beber y salir de farra, sino que muchas veces hay amigos que quisieran tener una relación estable como la de Rick y Debbie.
