JURASIC PARK A CLASSIC DELIVERY TO ENJOY WITH THE FAMILY [ENG]
The book introduces us to the ambitious idea of John Hammond, a billionaire businessman who creates a theme park like no other: a park inhabited by live dinosaurs. Using advances in genetic engineering, Hammond and his scientific team manage to revive these creatures extinct millions of years ago. However, as the narrative unfolds, it is revealed that the park is plagued with unexpected problems and dangers.
The plot takes place on Isla Nublar, off the coast of Costa Rica, where the Jurassic Park is located. The author immerses us in a world full of detail and scientific realism, accurately describing the technical aspects of cloning and genetics. As the main characters, such as paleontologist Alan Grant, mathematician Ian Malcolm, and paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, explore and confront the dangers of the park, readers are also caught up in a rollercoaster of emotions and suspense.
Crichton masterfully combines science, adventure and speculation about the consequences of playing with the power of nature. In addition to creating a gripping plot, the author also addresses ethical and moral issues related to genetic manipulation and humanity's responsibility towards other species.
As a good cinephile, I was able to see almost all the adaptations that were brought to the big screen since 1993 under the direction of Steven Spielberg and starring Sam Neill.
As a result of it, other installments emerged such as the famous series THE LOST WORLD. Several scenes impacted me, such as the struggle of different species for survival, also how man can be capable of creating a world for which we are not prepared without thinking about the consequences.
Personally, I really liked the cinematographic delivery since I imagine myself in a similar place although I would not want to run into a T-REX but the truth is that the power of the human being is so unpredictable that many times we do not measure the damage to our own ecosystem just because of greed.
It is a film with very good special effects, although a little ambiguous but very good for the year of release. On the other hand, the acting of the protagonists is quite professional and I consider that they worked very well to captivate the presence of thousands of spectators of all ages. It is a film that is worth watching with the family, whether at home or in a cinema, where you can have a pleasant time.
