The story of the headless horseman comes as usual from the myths and legends of various cities around the world. Its adaptation to film has been one of the most interesting projects that have been observed today.

Sleppy Hollow was a production made by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp was released in 1999. The plot was set in the 18th century. The story of the headless horseman part of the life of a soldier of the troops of the Grand Duke of Hesse whose head was torn off by a cannonball. For years he searched for his head, tormenting and frightening the town of Sleepy Hollow.

In Johnny Depp's film, this event occurs in a different way as the warrior encounters two sisters on a walk through town on a winter morning. The older of them acts cruelly and ruthlessly rips off his head and holds it in her power to fulfill her darkest desires. This triggers a series of crimes and makes Jhonny Depp appear on the scene to give a solution to the events occurred after a verifiable scientific explanation and so little by little the film is developing and taking complexity while still enjoying the professionalism of the actors of the project.

At the beginning I was shocked by the horror scenes that occurred but then I got used to it thanks to the appearance of Johnny Depp in the film. It's worth mentioning that whenever Johnny and Tim work together they always come up with a film project that manages to captivate the viewers from the beginning to the end. It's a pleasant enough movie that although it lacks modern special effects, you can appreciate complex scenes like the one when the rider captures the older sister with her head already in place and is swallowed by a tree that contains a good amount of souls.

Personally I'm not much of a horror lover but thanks to Johnny Depp I've learned to visualize all kinds of genres. This was my delivery today and I hope you liked it.
