This time I am going to talk about I, Robot. A movie that when it was released (2004) seemed very fictional and surrealistic. And now, with the reality we live in, it doesn't seem so fantastic.

This movie is set in 2035, in the city of Chicago. In a futuristic world. Where humanoid robots are part of people's daily lives.

I don't think that by 2035 as the movie says, but it wouldn't seem crazy to me to believe that in 20 or 30 years, humanoid robots will be part of our daily lives. Which makes me wonder, could this be possible in the near future, could an artificial intelligence disobey and try to destroy or control us? My guess is that yes it could happen, but not like in the movie. I can't imagine a civil war between humans and machines. That does seem a bit far-fetched to me.

On the other hand, another relevant thing about the film is that we are shown Sonny. The first robot that generated its own consciousness. And he is able to feel and express human emotions.
Por otra parte, otra cosa relevante de la película es que se nos muestra a Sonny. El primer robot que generó conciencia propia. Y es capaz de sentir y expresar emociones humanas.
This brings me to another question: Could it happen in our world, that an artificial intelligence develops a real consciousness? This unknown does generate a lot of headaches. Because first we should define what consciousness is and today there is no clear or defined answer. Undoubtedly it is a very interesting and philosophical topic.
Esto me lleva a otra pregunta. ¿Podría pasar en nuestro mundo? ¿Que una inteligencia artificial desarrolle una conciencia real? Esta incógnita sí genera muchos dolores de cabeza. Porque primero deberíamos definir que es la conciencia y al día de hoy no hay una respuesta clara o definida. Sin dudas es un tema muy interesante aparte de filosófico.
For me, this is a good movie. It presents more than one moral dilemma that leaves you thinking. It has very good action scenes. I think Will Smith's performance is very good. And the special effects aged pretty well for being over 20 years old.
Para mí, esta es una buena película. Presenta más de un dilema moral que te deja pensando. Tiene muy buenas escenas de acción. Creo que la actuación de Will Smith es muy buena. Y los efectos especiales envejecieron bastante bien para tener más de 20 años.
In my opinion, all those who did not see it or saw it a long time ago, should see it again. I am sure that like me, you will have a new experience with the reality in which we live.

No exagero cuando digo que esta es de mis películas favoritas del género de la ciencia ficción relacionada a los robots. Y no solo lo digo por el excelente trabajo actoral de Will Smith, como siempre, sino también por su aspecto audiovisual. Sobre todo su banda sonora, la cual es de mis favoritas que he escuchado en mi vida. La historia también está muy bien hecha, con su mezcla de misterio y acción que logra enganchar muy bien al espectador desde el principio. También tiene varias escenas muy inolvidables y un final que simplemente te deja con ganas de más.

Viste lo bien que envejecieron todo lo relacionado con el apartado técnico? Se nota que buscaron la excelencia con esta película.
La historia está mejor que bien hecha, más en estos tiempos donde se habla tanto de inteligencia artificial.
