Kcontest #25 // K-fashion influence

K-fashion has done a lot and has inspired people a lot when it comes to fashion. Their dressing has inspired young people and it is more easier when you watch their show or the K-drama. The K-fashion style that I like the most is the Korean streetwear. I like it because it looks comfortable and stylish at the same time. Korean streetwear usually has loose and oversized clothes, like big hoodies, wide pants, and baggy jackets. Even though the clothes look relaxed, the outfits are always put together in a clean and thoughtful way. People often mix simple colors like black, white, gray, or beige with one eye-catching item, such as bright shoes or a colorful cap. This makes the outfit look cool without being too loud.

Another thing that makes me like Korean streetwear is the way it focuses on layering. You might wear a T-shirt under a hoodie, then add a long coat or puffer jacket on top at the same time. It makes the outfit look more interesting and unique. Accessories like bucket hats, small shoulder bags, chunky sneakers, and simple jewelry are also very common. These small details help complete the look and make it feel modern.

K-idols and actors have a big influence on how young people in my dress and have changed their fashion sense because they always follow the trend. Many teens and young adults follow their favorite idol groups on social media, and they pay attention to every detail of the outfit the members wear. For example, when idols wear wide-leg pants or platform shoes in music videos or airport photos, a lot of young people start looking for similar items. Stores also notice this trend and begin selling what they always demand for that match the Korean style.

K-dramas play the most important part. Fans watch the shows and admire the way characters dress. A simple coat or a school uniform style from a drama can quickly become popular. People often search online for “K-drama outfit ideas” or “how to dress like their favourite actor,” in the movie they just watched and then try to recreate the look with items they can find locally.

I've watched and seen how this influence can be seen nearly everywhere. More young people now wear oversized tops, straight-cut jeans, long skirts, and layered outfits. Many also choose softer colors and cleaner styles because that is common in K-fashion. Even to some hairstyles.

I especially like Korean streetwear because it is simple, comfortable, and creative. And through music videos, dramas, and social media, K-idols and actors strongly shape the way young people around choose their clothes and express their personal style.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
