Wyvern is a 2009 Canadian-American made-for-television horror film about a wyvern, a fierce winged beast similar in appearance to a dragon, that is released by the melting of the ice caps in the small Alaskan town of Beaver Mills.
The film is set in the remote Alaskan town of Beaver Mills, which is located just north of the Arctic Circle. As the town prepares for its annual celebration of the summer solstice, a wyvern is released by the melting of the ice caps. The wyvern attacks the town, killing several people and leaving the residents in fear.
A group of townspeople, led by ice trucker Jake Suttner, set out to stop the wyvern. They use their ingenuity and local knowledge to track down the wyvern and destroy it.
Wyvern is a suspenseful and exciting horror film with well-done special effects.
