Into The Badlands: Movie Review
Into the Badlands is a movie series written by Dick Beebe, Gordon Dawson and Marjorie David, and was directed by Sam Pillsbury, which was launched on AMC in 2015 and ended in 2019.
Just like the series name implies, It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Strong and Primitive lords fight and rule over territories called Badlands in feudalism.

Into the Badlands is a series where guns were banned and martial arts are the main form of combat. The series was about Sunny, a strong and skilled fighter, a loyal regent to one of the lords, who discovers a young boy named M.K. who possesses a mysterious power gifted to most of the people of Azra, people with this gift were called the Dark Ones. Together Sunny and M.K. embark on a journey to find freedom from the tyranny of the Badlands.
During this journey they meet many foes and friends like Bajie and they were also made to serve some tyran lords like the Widow, during this journey M.K. got to find out that Sunny was the one who murdered his parents when Sunny was once know as the killer, M.K. and Sunny got separated.
Pilgrim was Sunny's brother who later became the strongest villain of the series, trying to force the power of dark eye to all the people of Azra in other to make Azra the strongest nation. I may not be good in narating the series, but a assure you, the series is worth watching and I can boldly say you may ever never watched anything like this series.
The Widow was my favourite actor in the series, and I also think she is the strongest in the series, the scene of the last fight should have been the Widow against Pilgrim. I really felt bad when Sunny died 😪🤧, I never thought of such event while I was watching the series 😅
The series was inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, which features a Myraid cast of characters and cultures. Into the Badlands is a series that bluster breathtaking fight scenes and choreography. The series was praised for its creativity, originality and action, and has also gained a loyal fan base over time.
