Cinematic language is expressed not only through images, but also through words. The sentences spoken by characters in films sometimes surprise us, displace us, create a bond with the actor impersonating them, and can have a strong impact on the audience, both in terms of their content and their form.
In short, we like them a lot.
In this movie, Pacific Rim, a 2013 science fiction film directed by Guillermo del Toro, The line is as follows:
"One, don't you ever touch me again.
Two, don't you ever touch me again."

watch the scene

It is pronounced by Stacker Pentecost, the commander of the base
of the Jaegers, giant robots used to fight alien monsters called Kaiju, to Raleigh Becket, a former Jaeger pilot who is recruited for a final mission.
And the context in which it is uttered makes it very effective and memorable because it has rhythm, emphasis, rigor and firmness.
The pace of the sentence is relentless, it is repeated twice by Pentecost as if to emphasize an urgency, a tension, and the viewer is caught as if magnetized by his mood and authoritative attitude.
In fact, Pentecost is angry and irritated with his interlocutor, who has just challenged and touched him. Pentecost purposely uses the numbers one and two to emphasize and reinforce the meaning of the sentence thus instilling his firmness and determination.
In fact, he uses the personal pronoun you and the reflexive pronoun me to highlight the distance and difference between the two of them; he does not want to have any physical or mental contact with Becket who has just challenged and touched him. The contrast of the sentence reflects his incompatibility and hostility. The sentence is simple and direct, which makes it clear and unambiguous in order to avoid ambiguity or misunderstanding;
in fact, Pentecost wants to be heard and
In conclusion, this scene has stayed with me, I find it very interesting and meaningful, it shows the complexity of the characters, it expresses the conflict between two men who have different views on how to deal with the Kaiju threat and the role of the Jaegers. The scene also shows how language can be used to create effects of rhythm, emphasis, contrast, and simplicity, which make a speech more effective and memorable.
