Very good my dear readers, I hope you are excellent, today I want to share an opinion about these two productions that you are seeing on the cover, it is nothing less than the mini series "Heartostopper" and the movie "Hoy quiero volver solito" both are productions of the LGBT community, that if it were a competition between which one should I choose, it is very rigid because I have been fascinated by both, I hope you like them a lot and if so let me know what you think if you have come to see this series or movie in the comments box.

Heartostopper .

This is a mini series that Netflix launched not long ago is a production that gave much to talk about in social networks so much so that I knew it was by a tik tok of a scene that caught my attention, I had heard of it before but I did not encourage me to see it for reasons that later I will tell you, but when I finished watching it I was so surprised and happy at the same time, because I did not expect it to be so good personally. I know that many of you will say that it is not a big deal, I agree, but it has everything I look for in a romantic production and the most important thing I consider, is that it managed to transmit emotions to the viewer, for me that is a big step to win my heart and good opinion. Besides that you won't last more than 4 hours watching it, you will finish it as soon as possible because it doesn't last long and it only has 6 chapters, what are you waiting for?

Today I want to go back alone.

Movie that I loved, I think this was the first LGBT movie that I recommended in my blog and I was so excited to do it because when I saw it I loved it so much that I wanted everyone to see it, even though it was not the first movie I saw of the LGBT community, I had already seen several but none had given me that vibe or generated incredible emotions. Below I leave you my review about this movie that by the way before was a short film and had so much fame that they turned it into a movie, it is originally from Brazil and it is well developed.

I think what I loved most about this production was the characters and the soundtrack, the whole process was well executed as well as the story, this movie definitely won my heart in every way.

If you haven't seen either of the two, I recommend you read no further.

What do they have in common?

First of all, the title of my post was exaggerated, I just wanted to catch your attention, the truth is that both productions have some things in common but the story is not similar at all, both stories take place in different ways and are developed in different ways.

What they don't have in common.

1. Both stories have a good soundtrack, they selected a list of songs that definitely goes very well with their story, the same vibe and style, of course both have something that characterizes them, but later I will mention that, however in "Heartostopper" and "Hoy quiero volver solito" contain different color palette and angles shots, the truth is that everything is different.

2. The characters are well developed in both productions, their attitudes and ways of being, how they connect and get to know each other.

3. The friends of the main character (Charlie) in "Heartostopper" are several, specifically 3, friends who get along very well with the boy, always looking for ways to support and encourage him, although in my opinion I felt something toxic with respect to the friend who was closer to Charlie, who had known him the longest, feeling that he was very pessimistic and somewhat stubborn, it is as if he supported and protected him but in turn did not want him to be happy, in short, I felt that .

As in "Quiero volver solito" the main character (Leonardo) has a best friend, who is a very good friend but is somewhat similar to the one I mentioned in the series, she is somewhat protective and toxic, she wants to see her friend well but I feel that sometimes she doesn't want to see him happy, she is somewhat pessimistic.

In itself these two productions are very different but they certainly have their things in common.

I admit that I am not a big fan of LGBT productions that are vulgar, I like that they develop a story that is innocent and cute. That it takes time and process to fall in love, I think I really like that in romantic productions.

What they have in common.

1. The actions of the characters in both productions are very similar, the touching of hands, the eye contact, the blushing, the fear of being discovered, the unexpected kiss, the hug that lasts an eternity, the tension that is created between the characters and the longing to see and touch each other, the friendship they create before confessing their love, all that is what really makes a love story.

2. There is a character who doesn't know what he feels, who doesn't know about his sexuality and feels confused, usually it's usually the 2nd main character, who is the one who initiates that love story, in a society that still doesn't accept the LGBT community, and it's usually hard for both of them as they have to fight criticism, insults and everything that goes with that.

In both there is something that caught my attention and that in turn I loved, first in "Hoy quiero volver solito" the main character is blind, that makes the story more interesting because we will be seeing how Leonardo takes all that and how he processes it, it makes me the story even more beautiful, because he does not necessarily look at Gabriel for his physique but more because what makes him feel, the fact that he is there.

And in Heartostopper, Nic Nelson who is the secondary character, he's bisexual, he likes both genders, male and female, that's important because he really in that process was researching and analyzing his emotions and feelings.

Those two things are what I admire and certainly made those productions the best.

Which one is better?

Both, I can't choose or much less say which one is better, because as I mentioned before, both have something that makes them unique and the truth is that they are productions that are worth seeing even once in a lifetime, I really feel that both transmit that happiness and nervousness to the viewer, wanting to want a happy ending, even so they manage to generate all those emotions that are cliché that makes us remember when we were younger and we liked someone and we felt thousands of things, those innocent emotions.

So they're both good, they're both made in their own way and they're both undoubtedly worthwhile stories.

Do I recommend it?

I think my words are the most direct and sincere, of course I recommend them, I loved them both, although between us "Hoy quiero volver solito" has a special place in my heart, because I saw it a long time ago and the truth is that it was my favorite movie, but Heartostopper was a series that I really enjoyed and that I would watch again. So, if you haven't seen it, watch it, you will love it.
