RE: MOVIE REVIEW: “Disclosure Day” (2026)

Nicely detailed review of this movie, which apparently arrives with a few caveats for those who were expecting more. I don't think it's what people were expecting, and I have read a few negative reactions to it.
As obvious as it may seem, it's important to emphasize that this movie isn't about aliens in their essence (because that would be a completely stupid presumption of absolute truth... considering that any and all truth about this subject is merely speculation, even if based on supposed "real facts"), but rather... about the impact of their existence on our planet.
It doesn't sound like it has the same impact as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but it has its own unique introspective angle.
There's a massive structure within the entire narrative involving the existence of extraterrestrials, which, using unsettling elements (though not always so well-developed, simply because the script chose a more optimistic and humanistic approach to how the big reveal will be made), relies on a constant atmosphere of tension in all its segments.
I can't wait to see it.
