Lover, Stalker, Killer

Hi, this is my first review of a movie/documentary.

This is the story of Dave. He just separated from his girlfriend, lonely and wanted to find a casual partner through online dating sites. He found two women and what followed next changed his life forever.

In 2012, 35 year old Dave went to an online dating site to find a casual partner. He met 39 year old Liz whom he share a lot of similar interests with. "It was exactly the right mix." Dave said.

He then met 37 year old Cari who was a customer in the autoshop where he worked. He dated both women casually.

What follows next was strange and scary that could only happen in movies. However, this is a true story of years of stalking, arson and murder.

Cari disappeared and for years sent threatening messages to Dave, Liz and even Dave's former girlfriend, Amy. Liz's car was vandalized and even her home was set on fire. She also got shot before the criminal was caught.

I must admit that I searched about this case online before watching the documentary so I already knew how the culprit was caught. The show however succeeded in keeping the tension that kept me hooked. It's amazing how the the detectives and the IT guy followed the clues and worked tirelessly that it even affected their personal lives. They were eventually able to build the case/evidence to help the prosecution put the criminal behind bars.

I recommended this to my friends and I highly recommend it the readers of this review.
