Saludos queridos amigos de #hive, antes de empezar este post me parece pertinente comunicarles que luego de un mes he vuelto a darle amor a mi blog, pues por ocupaciones personales y otro cumulo de obligaciones, no había tenido el tiempo o, mejor dicho, no había logrado organizar mi tiempo para asi poder seguir compartiendo con ustedes a través del mismo. Prontamente estaré explicándoles en otro post la razón de mi desaparición, pero por lo pronto me contenta saber he logrado volver a hacer vida en mi ecosistema favorito como lo es #hive.

Para esta noche quiero compartirles queridos lectores una reseña sobre una película muy particular e inspiradora llamada “talentos ocultos” vale decir que este filme fue estrenado en el año 2017 y a mi parecer fue un rotundo éxito, y quienes hemos mirado este trabajo cinematográfico, sabemos que es una verdadera joya. La historia gira en torno a la vida de tres mujeres afroamericanas en la década de los 60, mujeres inteligentes y muy bien preparadas que trabajan para la nasa en bajo perfil, se sabe que para estos años los conflictos con la raza eran muy marcados y la sociedad de alguna forma marginaba a las personas de color, inclusive obligándolos a usar baños distintos al de las personas blancas, y muchas otras particularidades más.

Greetings dear friends of #hive, before starting this post I think it is pertinent to let you know that after a month I have returned to give love to my blog, because due to personal occupations and other obligations, I had not had the time or, rather, I had not managed to organize my time so I could continue sharing with you through it. Soon I will be explaining in another post the reason for my disappearance, but for now I am happy to know that I have managed to come back to life in my favorite ecosystem as it is #hive.

For tonight I want to share with you dear readers a review about a very particular and inspiring movie called "hidden talents" it is worth saying that this film was released in 2017 and in my opinion it was a resounding success, and those who have watched this film work, we know that it is a real gem. The story revolves around the life of three African-American women in the 60s, intelligent and very well prepared women who work for nasa in low profile, it is known that for these years the conflicts with race were very marked and society somehow marginalized people of color, including forcing them to use different bathrooms than white people, and many other particularities more.

Ahora bien, estas chicas forman parte de un proyecto de la nasa que busca para ese tiempo que el hombre entre por primera vez en la órbita espacial, pero esto se vuelve más complicado de lo que podrían prever pues los cálculos son tan inexactos y las constantes pruebas un fracaso, lo cual causa que los estados unidos se quede atrás viéndose derrotados por la URSS, quienes alcanzaron la delantera, frustrando así a todo el equipo espacial estadounidense y llevándolos a pensar en un urgente plan B.

Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson y Dorothy Vaughn tres mujeres admirables consideradas como “calculadoras humanas” serán las encargadas de darle un giro positivo a toda esta historia. Cada una de estas mujeres como ya lo dije tenían que vivir con una cantidad innumerable de limitaciones por el simple hecho de ser mujeres, lo cual para la época era complicado y aún más siendo mujeres de color, puesto que los orígenes raciales eran algo complicado para el momento y la falta de valores y empatía mucho más, podría decir que esta película evidencia la marcada ignorancia que existía para la época.

Now, these girls are part of a NASA project that seeks for that time that man enters for the first time in space orbit, but this becomes more complicated than they could foresee because the calculations are so inaccurate and the constant tests a failure, which causes the United States to be left behind being defeated by the USSR, who reached the lead, thus frustrating the entire American space team and leading them to think about an urgent plan B.

Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson and Dorothy Vaughn, three admirable women considered as "human calculators" will be in charge of giving a positive turn to this story. Each of these women, as I said, had to live with an innumerable amount of limitations for the simple fact of being women, which for the time was complicated and even more so being women of color, since the racial origins were something complicated for the time and the lack of values and empathy much more, I could say that this film evidences the marked ignorance that existed for the time.

Katherine Johnson es quien toma el protagonismo en esta historia, al ser ella convocada para formar parte del proyecto que busca poner al condecorado militante Jhon Gleen en órbita, y básicamente ella debe encargarse de revisar los cálculos que existen para el momento y corregirlos de ser necesario pero, no todo será color de rosa para esta mujer pues con extremas limitaciones será poco lo que pueda descifrar matemáticamente hablando, ya que prácticamente todos los datos se encuentran clasificados y le niegan el acceso a Katherine, pero esta lucha hasta lo más mínimo por obtener respuestas y ello impresiona a muchos de los hombres que trabajan en este proyecto.

Esta historia basada en hechos reales te hará sentir muchas cosas, felicidad, enojo y tristeza, es un filme basado en hechos reales que si bien te muestra los logros de una nación al mismo tiempo te sensibiliza mostrándote todo lo que estuvo detrás para llegar a tal fin, desde quienes tuvieron que negarle tiempo de calidad a sus hijos por ir en la búsqueda de un mejor futuro, como también de aquellas personas que debieron luchar para que les permitieran estudiar en la universidad que necesitaban e incluso quienes se vieron obligados a caminar kilómetros para poder acceder a un baño.

Katherine Johnson is the one who takes the leading role in this story, as she is called to be part of the project that seeks to put the decorated militant Jhon Gleen in orbit, and basically she must be in charge of reviewing the calculations that exist for the moment and correct them if necessary, but, not everything will be rosy for this woman because with extreme limitations there will be little she can decipher mathematically speaking, since practically all the data is classified and Katherine is denied access, but she fights to the very least to get answers and this impresses many of the men working on this project.

This story based on true events will make you feel many things, happiness, anger and sadness, it is a film based on true events that while it shows you the achievements of a nation at the same time sensitizes you showing you everything that was behind to reach such an end, from those who had to deny quality time to their children to go in search of a better future, as well as those who had to fight to be allowed to study at the university they needed and even those who were forced to walk miles to access a bathroom.

Es una película que recomiendo con los ojos cerrados y que te inspira a ser mejor persona, no es aburrida y tampoco es exagerada, considero que es una película que todos deberíamos ver al menos una vez en nuestra vida, y es por ello que, en esta oportunidad en lugar de darte más spoilers, te animo a que la mires pronto. ¡Gracias a todos por dedicar unos minutos de lectura!

It's a movie that I recommend with my eyes closed and that inspires you to be a better person, it's not boring and it's not exaggerated either, I consider it a movie that we should all watch at least once in our life, and that's why, in this opportunity instead of giving you more spoilers, I encourage you to watch it soon.
