Saludos abejitas, hoy nuevamente me encuentro por este espacio para hablarles un poco sobre la serie más reciente que he visto, dicha serie actualmente consta de dos temporadas, yo finalice gustosamente la primera temporada y actualmente me encuentro viendo la segunda, por ello no dude en ningún momento en compartirles mi sentir sobre la primera temporada y pues claro, recomendarla a mis lectores porque es muy común que sintamos ganas de ver algo en la tv y simplemente no conseguir nada (me ha pasado muchísimo) así que si eres amante de lo oscuro, la fantasía y el suspenso, ésta serie es para ti.

Esta serie en particular lleva por nombre "las brujas de Mayfair" y está basada en los libros de fantasía de la aurora Anne Rice, está adaptación sigue la vida de Rowan una brillante neurocirujana que con el pasa del tiempo empieza a sentir que tiene poderes sobrenaturales, pero sin orientación, sin respuesta alguna y sin el respaldo de nadie siente que solo se está volviendo un poco loca, aunque muy dentro de ella sabe que ella está hecha de algo especial, y pronto ansia conectar con la verdad.

Greetings bees, today again I find myself in this space to tell you a little about the most recent series I have seen, this series currently consists of two seasons, I gladly finished the first season and I am currently watching the second, so I did not hesitate at any time to share my feelings about the first season and of course, recommend it to my readers because it is very common that we feel like watching something on tv and just not get anything (it has happened to me a lot) so if you are a lover of dark, fantasy and suspense, this series is for you.

This particular series is called “The Witches of Mayfair” and is based on the fantasy books by the aurora Anne Rice, this adaptation follows the life of Rowan a brilliant neurosurgeon who over time begins to feel that she has supernatural powers, but without guidance, without any answers and without the support of anyone she feels she is just going a little crazy, although deep inside she knows that she is made of something special, and soon she longs to connect with the truth.

Cabe destacar que Rowan es una chica adoptada, y su madre nunca le dió muchos detalles sobre su vida o familia biológica, a lo cual Rowan siempre se sintió intrigada y no es sino cuando su madre adoptiva fallece que las respuestas vienen a ella como si el destino la abrumara. Con él pasar de los meses Rowan descubre que su familia biológica aún vive y de hecho posee una familia numerosa, aunque un tanto extraña y misteriosa. Pero es en este punto donde la cosa se pone mucho peor.

Ancestros, sucesiones, lineas de sangre, pactos antiguos y demonios salen a la luz, es mucho para digerir, pero por primera vez esta chica se empieza a sentir comprendida y bien consigo misma. Resulta que Rowan descubre que pertenece a una familia de brujas ancestrales, dónde casi todos los miembros poseen un don único, y no les contaré mucho sobre ello para no darles spoilers pero, créanme que los eventos te dejan boquiabierto.

It should be noted that Rowan is an adopted girl, and her mother never gave her many details about her life or biological family, to which Rowan always felt intrigued and it is not until her adoptive mother passes away that the answers come to her as if fate overwhelmed her. As the months go by Rowan discovers that her biological family is still alive and in fact she has a large, if somewhat strange and mysterious, family. But it is at this point where things get much worse.

Ancestors, successions, bloodlines, ancient pacts and demons come to light, it's a lot to digest, but for the first time this girl starts to feel understood and good about herself. It turns out that Rowan discovers that she belongs to a family of ancestral witches, where almost every member possesses a unique gift, and I won't tell you too much about it so as not to give you spoilers but, believe me, the events are jaw-dropping.

Rowan al ser la decimotercera bruja en la línea de sangre, es la elegida para dar cumplimiento a una profecía que yace de siglos atrás, pero aunque todos los miembros de la familia ansiaban su llegada y el cumplimiento se está promesa, dudan sobre si está chica, se preguntan si realmente podrá cumplir con la tarea o desistirá de sus dones como lo ha estado intentado desde que se enteró de todo. No es una tarea facil para nadie, mucho menos para una persona que hasta hace poco tiempo llevaba una vida ordinaria pero, si es una oportunidad para demostrar de lo que está hecha ésta chica.

La trama es en cierta parte impredecible y muy entretenida aunque la crítica ante este trabajo cinematográfico es mixta, yo considero que es una serie que vale la pena salvar. No da miedo, pero si te dan ganas de seguir viéndola. Además de que el desarrollo de personaje que tiene la protagonista es muy satisfactorio a mi parecer. La puntuación que le doy es de 9/10, creo que el final fue la cereza del pastel y si me disfrute mucho esos ocho capitulos. ¿A ti te gustan las brujas? ¡Gracias por leer! Rowan, being the thirteenth witch in the bloodline, is the one chosen to fulfill a prophecy that lies centuries ago, but although all the members of the family longed for her arrival and the fulfillment is promised, they doubt if this girl will really be able to fulfill the task or will give up her gifts as she has been trying to do since she found out about it all. It is not an easy task for anyone, much less for a person who until recently led an ordinary life, but it is an opportunity to show what this girl is made of.

The plot is somewhat unpredictable and very entertaining, although the reviews for this film are mixed, I think it's a series worth saving. It's not scary, but it does make you want to keep watching it. Plus the character development of the main character is very satisfying in my opinion.
