¿Soy la única que no le gusta este sistema de presentar una parte de una serie y luego la otra parte? Dios, es desesperante, creo que es más entretenido el sistema de HBO, un capítulo a la semana. Pero, dejando de lado este pequeño momento de odio por el sistema que está implementando mis íntimos amigos de Netflix, vamos a hablar de una serie que tenía mucho tiempo esperando, The Witcher.

Am I the only one who doesn't like this system of presenting one part of a series and then the other part? God, it's hopeless, I think it's more entertaining the HBO system, one episode a week. But, leaving aside this little moment of hatred for the system being implemented by my close friends at Netflix, let's talk about a series that I had a long time waiting for, The Witcher.

Les había hablado anteriormente de esta serie, en un post titulado "Let's Talk About One of my Favorite Series: The Witcher" y les comentaba lo mucho que me encanta el mundo de The Witcher, como es la historia y todos esos pequeños detalles. En esta oportunidad, el servicio de streaming Netflix nos ha presentado la tercera temporada, donde vemos al brujo Geralt de Rivia, Cirilla de Cintra y Yennefer de Vengerberg en una nueva aventura, escapando de todos aquellos que quieren encontrar a Ciri, el reino de Nilfgard.

I had previously told you about this series, in a post titled "Let's Talk About One of my Favorite Series: The Witcher" and I told you how much I love the world of The Witcher, how is the story and all those little details. This time, the streaming service Netflix has presented us with the third season, where we see the witcher Geralt of Rivia, Cirilla of Cintra and Yennefer of Vengerberg in a new adventure, escaping from all those who want to find Ciri, the kingdom of Nilfgard.

Los primeros momentos que tenemos de este trío son huyendo, estableciéndose momentáneamente en un lugar, entrenar y volver a escapar, ya que un brujo los está cazando ferozmente para encontrar a Ciri, al mismo tiempo que destruye a Yennefer y Geralt. De estos últimos, vemos momentos de tensión, pero después de unos 3 capítulos digamos que arreglan sus diferencias y vuelven a demostrarse ese afecto que tienen, parecen una pequeña familia. También vemos ese lado sobre protector de Yennefer, cuidando de ciri como si de una hija se tratase, incluso enfrentándose nuevamente a la Hermandad, regresando a Aretusa para pedir perdón, solo con el fin de que entrenen a Ciri para que pueda poner en control sus poderes.

The first moments we have of this trio are running away, momentarily settling in a place, training and escaping again, as a sorcerer is hunting them fiercely to find Ciri, while destroying Yennefer and Geralt. From the latter, we see moments of tension, but after about 3 chapters let's say they settle their differences and show again that affection they have, they seem like a little family. We also see that overprotective side of Yennefer, taking care of Ciri as if she were a daughter, even confronting the Brotherhood again, returning to Arethusa to ask for forgiveness, just so they can train Ciri so she can control her powers.

Y hablando de Cirilla, en esta temporada pudimos ver más de ella, de su personalidad testaruda y feroz, de sus convicciones y de como lucha por lo que cree justo, del miedo que le dan sus poderes y todo el mundo mágico, lleno de personas muy superficiales y antipáticas, escapando de ello para volver con Geralt, su lugar seguro y también lo entretenida que se pone cuando toca cazar un monstruo. Ciri tiene que ser protegida, pero al mismo tiempo quiere luchar para defenderse y dejar que la neutralidad no siempre es buena, hay que escoger un bando y luchar.

And speaking of Cirilla, in this season we could see more of her, of her stubborn and fierce personality, of her convictions and how she fights for what she thinks is right, of the fear that her powers give her and the whole magical world, full of very superficial and unfriendly people, escaping from it to go back to Geralt, her safe place and also how entertaining she gets when it's time to hunt a monster. Ciri has to be protected, but at the same time she wants to fight to defend herself and let that neutrality is not always good, you have to choose a side and fight.
