Es mi primera participación en esta comunidad 👏🏻 Pero, me encantan las películas y las series de televisión y no quería dejar de comentar lo que vi recientemente en el cine 😁😇
Estamos acostumbrados a escuchar esa frase que dice: “las segundas partes nunca fueron buenas”. Pues, tuve la oportunidad de ir a ver este fin de semana la tan esperada y comentada secuela de El diario viste a la moda, parte 2, y rompió esta regla. No me decepcionó, al contrario es un guión fresco con un toque más moderno y reflexivo.
Veinte años después, volvemos al fascinante mundo de la moda y el periodismo. La trama gira en torno a la revista Runway y los desafíos que conllevan la era digital. Las protagonistas Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) y Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) se “unen” para intentar mantener en pie los medios impresos, actualmente en declive, con el avance de la tecnología.
Miranda sigue siendo la temida editora en jefe de la prestigiosa revista de moda, pero representa a lo que fue el periodismo tradicional (el papel); Andrea (o Andy) vuelve más fuerte, ahora es una editora experimentada y representa la conexión entre periodismo de papel y el digital, debe intentar captar la atención del público hacia la revista combinando ambas cosas y generar contenido de impacto pero adaptado a los nuevos tiempos.

Mi favorita, Anne Hathaway, se luce en esta película como todo lo que hace. ¿A quién no le gusta Mia Thermopolis de Diario de una Princesa?. Es una actriz muy versátil, con una chispa única, es didáctica en su forma de encarar a un personaje. ¡Espectacular!

This is my first post in this community 👏🏻 But I love movies and TV shows, and I didn’t want to miss the chance to share what I recently saw at the theater 😁😇
We’re used to hearing that saying: “sequels are never any good.” Well, this weekend I had the chance to see the long-awaited and much-talked-about sequel to The Devil Wears Prada 2, and it broke that rule. I wasn’t disappointed; on the contrary, it’s a fresh script with a more modern and thoughtful touch.
Twenty years later, we return to the fascinating world of fashion and journalism. The plot revolves around Runway magazine and the challenges brought on by the digital age. The protagonists, Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway), “team up” to try to keep print media afloat—currently in decline—amidst the advance of technology.
Miranda remains the feared editor-in-chief of the prestigious fashion magazine, but she represents what traditional journalism (print) once was; Andrea (or Andy) returns stronger, now an experienced editor who embodies the bridge between print and digital journalism. She must try to capture the public’s attention for the magazine by combining both worlds and creating impactful content adapted to the new era.

Cada vez que pasan Mamma Mia en los canales de televisión de película, no dejo de verla para llorar y cantar con Donna el repertorio musical de ABBA. En definitiva, una estrella de lujo que le da una fuerza y un peso increíble a esta película. Vale la pena verla regresar a la pantalla con ese porte imponente y esa mirada que atemoriza y encanta al mismo tiempo.
Uno de los temas que la película aborda es la aparición de los medios digitales y la Inteligencia Artificial. Creo que nos pone a pensar sobre lo que vale la creatividad y el esfuerzo humano. ¿Puede un algoritmo sustituir el estilo y la belleza? Yo amo el diablo viste la moda y no veo la hora de poder ver la película, me encanta que toque temas controversiales que están pasando en la actualidad excelente publicación.

A mí me gustó mucho esta segunda parte, pero por otro lado también siento que no será tan icónica como la primera. Eso sí, estuvo muy bien, amo a los personajes, la trama estuvo fresca y divertida, también me gustó que se adapte a la realidad moderna y la entrada de nuevas tecnologías. Es una segunda parte que guarda la esencia de la primera y también tiene ese toque nostálgico.
