Les diré a grandes rasgos la trama, ya que la idea es que ustedes la vean por si mimos, el film inicia con una pareja de novios que van a la inauguración de un restaurante en lo alto de una Torre Skyview, que tiene un mirador arriba, muchas personas de sociedad acuden a esta inauguración, ellos se mezclan entre los presentes toman una copa de champagne y van al mirador donde Paul le propone matrimonio a Iris, ella acepta y le confiesa que está embarazada, ellos bajan a la pista de baile muy feliz por el compromiso, pero de repente una de las bases de la torre empieza a soltarse y cae parte de la lámpara en el piso de vidrio rompiendo el cristal de la pista, donde finalmente todos caen al vacío, uno a uno van muriendo de una forma muy gráfica, también se produce una especie de incendio y otros mueren quemados, uno de los que caen al vacío primero es Paul ante los ojos de Iris, que no puede hacer nada, para finalmente ella morir de última.

A este punto te puedo decir que el film cumple con su propósito de entretener y mantenerte en suspenso, más considero que las escenas donde ocurren los accidentes no son tan elaborados como en las películas anteriores, son más bien algo simples y predecibles, la única escena con mayor tensión fue cuando la muerte empieza acechar a Marty en su tienda de tatuaje, este queda colgado por la nariz de un ventilador mientras se está incendiando el lugar, con relación a las actuaciones pude ver solo la angustia en la protagonista Estefany (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), más no en los demás, aspecto que hace que no sea tan creíble las situaciones que están viviendo.

Si tengo que escoger entre ellas, sin duda mi favorita sería Destino Final parte 2, ya que aquí podrás ver mucha creatividad en cada una de las muertes, como al chico que gano la lotería, o el motorizado, que te dejaran tan sorprendidos, y a la vez traumados que andarás asustado alucinando por semanas ja, ja, ja, igualmente te ocurre con Destino Final 1, es realmente brillante las escenas aquí los escritores se lucieron con la profesora de francés, si has visto todas estas películas me gustaría saber si tienes alguna favorita y si no te invito a que te tomes un fin de semana y las veas todas, para darte un banquete, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
