RE: Nonnas 2025 - Netflix - A heartwarming movie that touched my heart

🤣Netflix honestly made me watch spanish series and movies. I can tell you as much, I have the same thought as your boyfriend, it's not something that I want to watch but for me, it's curiosity mostly. Based on your review, it's certainly different from the typical spanish movie/series.
And these days, I am trying to do the same. I only have my mom now and want to preserve her recipes, so I am trying to learn a lot from her and even make my own twist of a family recipe. Your daughter would really appreciate it and I hope she understand its value, it's something money could never buy.

Oh I was speaking generally about Netflix and me wanting to watch lots of Spanish shows, this one isn't Spanish. The leading role is played by Vince Vaunce. So you're good!
There's a real fine line between a GOOD Spanish tv show or movie or a really bad one though, I often know in the first 20 mins max if I will be able to follow/like it enough to continue but thankfully, there are SO many to choose from. I often find series years old or with more seasons and having 80 episodes a season. Whenever one of these is nice, then I'm happy to have something to watch for a longer period.
I think you're doing the right thing to preserve these recipes! I've documented some stuff on the old platform and then on Hive but never gathered them together or updated them when improving something later so I'm working on a folder on my computer with that now to eventually print it and bundle it for the offspring :)
These memories from food may not seem that important now, but I'm 100% sure in the future any kid will appreciate having them if it's a recipe from the family they used to love. In the end, many memories are food related lol.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
