Tuve la oportunidad de ver Mickey 17 en su estreno en el cine con mi familia, mi hija nos invitó a su padre y a mí ya que le gusta el actor Robert Pattinson protagonista de la película y además está dirigida por Bong Joon-ho ganador del Oscar y también director de Parásitos, una película que nos gustó mucho. Una anécdota de ese día es que al entrar al cine no había nadie, fuimos los únicos en ver en esa función de Mickey 17, nunca nos había ocurrido esto, en ese momento tuve la impresión de que la película sería mala, pero para ser sincera no fue así.

Una de las cosas que más llamó mi atención de la película fue el personaje de Kenneth Marshall, líder de la expedición y con un parecido físico al actual presidente Donald Trump, una sátira de este importante y controversial líder político. La crítica social se hace evidente en Mickey 17, el director nos muestra lo malo que pude ser el ser humano, Mickey es sometido a todo tipo de vejaciones y trabajos horribles bajo la mirada de todos, quienes se hacen los ciegos a lo que ocurre y no les importa lo que pase con él, en mi opinión esto lo vemos a diario, los más pobres y vulnerables sufren y son pocos los que hacen algo para cambiar esto.
