Life sometimes throws us into somersaults and we can't even imagine where we're going to land. That's why we have to sow, that is, give love and lend a hand to other people. Because in an instant we're up and we open our eyes and “Plop.” If we don't have hands to hold us up and help us, the blow is very hard and it shakes our life. This usually happens to people who think they are superior and deserve everything. They are completely wrong, because they are just like the rest of us human beings.

It is understandable that people want to get ahead and achieve their dreams, goals, and life plans. Above all, they work hard to achieve them. However, from my point of view, what I don't agree with is that they forget their roots, their family, and their friends. On the other hand, I believe that we should never lose our essence. Where do we come from? Who are we? This is fundamental to growing as people. Believing oneself to be better than others and being ashamed of one's pride may cause them to miss out on important and valuable things in life, but to each their own.

As we say, Venezuelans of my generation think they know everything and the “last Coca-Cola in the desert,” but they don't even come close to “boli bomba.” An example of this type of person is April, the protagonist of the movie “Feel the Beat”, an unpleasant or “repulsive” young woman, as we Venezuelans say. Because she always wants to be first, she makes a mistake, and this mistake costs her her career. Accustomed to doing whatever she wants regardless of who she hurts, she has no choice but to return to square one.

To that world she left behind, where she has unfinished business. She has to face her past and embrace a lifestyle that, according to her, no longer suits her. But fate has other plans for her. Whether she likes it or not, she ends up coaching a group of girls to participate in a dance competition. I invite you to enjoy the adventures of April and these girls who gradually steal her heart.

It is a film that makes you reflect on what is truly worthwhile, on how to give your life a new direction and meaning. Above all, it is about having the ability to land on your feet when the world is spinning around you, because you have to be prepared from the moment you wake up to face the obstacles that come your way.

La vida a veces nos pone a dar volteretas y ni siquiera nos imaginamos a dónde vamos a caer. Por eso hay que sembrar, es decir, dar amor y brindar la mano a otras personas. Ya que en un instante estamos arriba y abrimos los ojos y “Plop”. Si no se tienen unas manos que nos sostengan y ayuden, el golpe es muy fuerte y pone a tambalear nuestra vida. Generalmente, les sucede a algunas personas que se creen superiores y que se merecen todo. Están totalmente equivocadas, pues son iguales al resto de los seres humanos.
Es entendible que las personas deseen surgir y alcanzar sus sueños, metas y proyectos de vida. Sobre todo, trabajen por lograrlo. Sin embargo, y desde mi punto de vista, lo que sí no me parece, es que se olviden de sus raíces, de su familia y de sus amigos. Por otro lado, creo que nunca debemos perder nuestra esencia. ¿De dónde venimos, ¿quiénes somos? Eso es fundamental para crecer como personas. El creerse mejor que los demás y avergonzarse por soberbia, quizás hagan que se pierdan cosas importantes y valiosas en su vida, pero cada loco con su tema.
Como decimos, los venezolanos de mi generación se creen que saben todo y la “última coca cola del desierto” y no llegan ni a “boli bomba”. Un ejemplo de este tipo de persona, es April, la protagonista de la película “Siente el ritmo”, una joven antipática o “repelente” como decimos los venezolanos. Por querer siempre ser la primera, se equivoca y este error le cuesta su carrera. Acostumbrada a hacer su voluntad sin importar a quién le hace daño, no le queda otra opción que regresar al punto de inicio.
A ese mundo que dejó atrás, donde tiene una historia inconclusa. Tiene que enfrentar su pasado e incorporarse a un estilo de vida que, según ella, ya le queda pequeño. Pero, el destino le tiene dispuesta otra cosa. Sin querer y queriendo, entrena a un grupo de niñas para participar en un concurso de baile. Les invito a disfrutar de las aventuras de April y estas niñas que poco a poco le roban el corazón.
Es un filme para reflexionar sobre lo que en realidad vale la pena, de cómo darle un nuevo rumbo y sentido a la vida. Sobre todo, de tener la capacidad para caer de pie cuando el mundo te dé vueltas, pues hay que estar preparados desde que nos levantamos para enfrentar los obstáculos que se nos presentan.
