Well, the list is never ending so many movies have made me laugh. And believe me, I watch them again and again. But the last movie that made me laugh, was Jim Carey’s Liar Liar (1997).😆

Although the film is about 28 years old, its comedy still feels fresh. It’s packed with laughter.

So, let’s begin. First, we’re introduced to Fletcher Reede (Jim Carrey), a brilliant lawyer. He knows how to twist words in court, strengthen his case, and win it. But there’s just one big problem with him Fletcher always breaks promises he makes to his son Max, swears false oaths, and this makes him a terrible father.

Max makes a birthday wish that for one whole day, his father won’t be able to lie at all. He won’t be able to manipulate words, and only the truth will come out of his mouth. Now, you call it Fletcher’s good luck or bad, Max’s wish actually comes true 😆😅🤣 and Fletcher finds himself completely unable to lie.

And from here begins a strange yet hilarious story, made even more brilliant by Jim Carrey’s gift for physical comedy.

In my movie reviews, I usually try not to spoil too much for those who haven’t seen the film yet. So, I won’t go into every detail, but here’s one of my favorite scenes:

Here, you’ll see Fletcher, unwillingly, roasting the everyone LOLz!😅😅:

Trust me, friends, this is just one of the countless hilarious scenes Jim Carrey pulled off with his wild physical comedy.

I really enjoyed this movie a lot. If you’ve already seen it, please share your thoughts in the comments. And if you haven’t, then please go watch it. For me, it’s a must watch.

It's hard not to laugh at this great Jim Carrey film. The peak of humor and acting are found here in this film, which, for me, is one of the best of its genre.

Good review.
