Wow! When I saw this contest I got really excited because back in the nineties I used to watch a lot of Schwartzenegger movies, but I definitely liked one of them so much that to this day I remember it and I remember how much it made me laugh when I watched it with my parents, so @cinetv and @caulderfreeman friends get ready for Kindergarten Cop. Al ver este concurso me emocioné mucho porque en los noventa yo solía ver muchas películas de Schwartzenegger, pero definitivamente una de ellas me gustó tanto que hasta el día de hoy la recuerdo y recuerdo cuanto me hacía reír cuando la veía con mis padres, así que amigos de @cinetv y @caulderfreeman prepárense para Kindergarten Cop. Overview/Resumen

John Kimble is a detective who is chasing a criminal named Cullen Crisp, and to track him down, Kimble must enter a school as a substitute Kindergarten teacher, since Cullen's son is in that school. At first Kimble does not know what to do, he feels overwhelmed to have so many small children in his charge, some scream, others cry, others pee on themselves, and he was not trained to solve such problems, as he is a tough, strong man, used to dealing with criminals, however, daily he designs strategies to keep the attention of his little students, he earns their trust and appreciation to the point that they want him as their only teacher.

John Kimble es un detective que está persiguiendo a un delincuente llamado Cullen Crisp, y para seguirle la pista, Kimble debe ingresar en una escuela como profesor sustituto de Kindergarten, ya que en esa escuela está el hijo de Cullen. Al principio Kimble no sabe qué hacer, se siente agobiado al tener tantos niños pequeños a su cargo, algunos gritan, otros lloran, otros se hacen pipi encima, y él no fue entrenado para solucionar ese tipo de problemas, ya que es un hombre rudo, fuerte, acostumbrado a lidiar con delincuentes, sin embargo, diariamente va diseñando estrategias para mantener la atención de sus pequeños alumnos, se gana su confianza y aprecio hasta el punto de que ellos lo quieren como su único maestro.

My Opinion/Mi Opinión

I love this movie because we can see a tremendous evolution in Schwartzenegger's character, that is, while he is still a tough, brave guy, willing to face any danger to protect those he loves, he can also be sensitive, he discovers that he is capable of being subtle and go beyond dealing with bad guys, he also discovers that being a Kindergarten teacher is no easy task (and I say this as a Kindergarten teacher who taught for a number of years). mastering a group of young children requires designing dynamic, fun, and educational strategies to keep them happy and excited about learning, sometimes eventualities arise in the classroom and teachers must maintain balance, which is why my parents and I found so hilarious the scene where Kinble leaves the children alone for a short time and returns to find chaos, then loses control and screams, therefore the kids start crying 🤣 this situation is more common than we think, and in fact, when the movie was released I was 5 years old, I was also in Kindergarten and I remember an occasion when the teacher left us alone for a while and when she came back she found chaos in the classroom 😆.

Esta película me encanta porque podemos ver una tremenda evolución en el personaje de Schwartzenegger, es decir, si bien sigue siendo un tipo rudo, valiente, dispuesto a enfrentarse a cualquier peligro por proteger a los que ama, también puede ser sensible, descubre que es capaz de ser sutil e ir más allá de lidiar con tipos malos, además descubre que ser un profesor de Kindergarten no es tarea sencilla (y lo digo como profesora de Kindergarten que ejerció por algunos años) dominar un grupo de niños pequeños requiere de diseñar estrategias dinámicas, divertidas y educativas para mantenerlos felices y entusiasmados por el aprendizaje, a veces surgen eventualidades dentro de las aulas y los maestros deben mantener el equilibrio, por esa razón a mis padres y a mi nos resultaba tan hilarante la escena donde Kinble deja a los niños solos por un breve lapso de tiempo y al regresar encuentra un caos, entonces pierde el control y grita, por lo tanto los niños se ponen a llorar 🤣 esta situación es más común de lo que creemos, y de hecho, cuando la película se estrenó yo tenía 5 años, también estaba en el Kindergarten y recuerdo una ocasión en que la maestra nos dejó solos por un rato y al regresar encontró un caos en el salón de clases 😆.

Another scene that I liked and enjoyed very much is when Mr. Kimble gives his comeuppance to the father of one of his students, since he was an abusive guy who constantly beat the boy and his wife, and this is a situation that can also be found in a classroom, since an attentive, dedicated and responsible teacher is able to detect that something is not right when one of his students decides not to participate in daily activities, and on the contrary remains quiet, withdrawn, plays alone or has certain violent behavior. Kinble was able to discover this and decided to investigate further until he got to the root of the matter, but he couldn't contain his anger so he ended up beating the guy before giving him a warning "You hit the kid, I hit you".

Otra de las escenas que me gustó y disfruté muchísimo es cuando el señor Kimble le da su merecido al padre de uno de sus alumnos, ya que era un tipo abusivo que constantemente golpeaba al niño y a su esposa, y esta es una situación que también se puede encontrar en un salón de clases, ya que un maestro atento, dedicado y responsable es capaz de detectar que algo no anda bien cuando uno de sus alumnos decide no participar en las actividades diarias, y por el contrario permanece callado, retraído, juega solo o tiene cierto comportamiento violento. Kinble fue capaz de descubrir esto y decidió seguir investigando hasta llegar a la raíz del asunto, pero no pudo contener su rabia de modo que terminó golpeando al tipo antes de darle una advertencia "Si golpeas al niño, yo te golpeo a ti"

I honestly think this is the Schwartzenegger movie that I like the most, not only because it is funny and you can have a good time watching it, but because although the situations may seem absurd, they do not lie at all, they are situations that could happen (and do happen) in real life, I really think that all teachers in training or those who are already graduated should watch this movie and learn a lot from Mr. Kimble and his teaching strategies.

Honestamente creo que es la película de Schwartzenegger que más me gusta, no solo porque es graciosa y puedes pasar un grato rato mirándola, sino porque aunque las situaciones pueden parecer absurdas, no mienten en lo absoluto, son situaciones que podrían suceder (y suceden) en la vida real, de verdad creo que todos los maestros en formación o los que ya están graduados deberían ver esta película y aprender mucho del señor Kimble y sus estrategias de enseñanza.
