Hey guys, today I'm going to talk about an anime (Well, it's not really an anime since it's a South Korean production) that I started watching on my sister's recommendation and that is based on a webtoon of the same name. At first I had doubts that I was going to like it because as I've told you on other occasions, I don't usually watch anime series but movies, because they obviously handle (for format reasons) an immediate beginning, development and ending, without fillers, however I agreed because it only has (at least until now) eight chapters, although it is not properly an anime, since it is a South Korean production and not Japanese but it uses the same aesthetic and for that reason it is considered as such by the fandom.
Hola chicos, hoy les voy a hablar de un anime (bueno, que en realidad no es un anime ya que es de producción surcoreana) que empecé a ver por recomendación de mi hermana y que está basado en un webtoon del mismo nombre, al inicio yo tenía dudas de que fuese a gustarme porque como les he dicho en otras oportunidades, yo no suelo ver series de anime sino películas, porque manejan obviamente (por razones de formato) un inicio, desarrollo y cierre inmediato, sin rellenos, sin embargo accedí porque solo tiene (al menos hasta ahora) ocho capítulos, aunque propiamente no es un anime, ya que es de producción surcoreana y no japonesa pero usa la misma estética y por esata razón es considerado como tal por parte del fandom.
Overview/Resumen
Park Hyeong-seok is an overweight boy who is constantly humiliated and bullied by his classmates, for this reason his mother decides to send him to the country's capital to study at another school, but when he was walking down the street, a misunderstanding caused other people to attack him as well, however on one occasion, he literally woke up in a different body: tall, thin and very handsome, he also discovered that he could inhabit that body while his own slept, and when he slept in the handsome body, he simply woke up in the old one, in this way he decided to work at night using his original body and enroll in the new school during the day using the handsome boy's body to avoid harassment, something that worked, not only because no one harasses or humiliates him but because he also acquired a lot of strength and an impressive ability to avoid physical attacks, anyway by inhabiting that "foreign" body he will also have the ability to see life from a different point of view, analyzing every detail and discovering things that previously went unnoticed.
Park Hyeong-seok es un chico con sobrepeso que constantemente es humillado y molestado por sus compañeros de clases, por esta razón su madre decide enviarlo a la capital del país a estudiar en otra escuela, pero cuando él iba caminando por la calle, un malentendido provocó que otras personas también lo atacaran, sin embargo en una ocasión, literalmente despertó en un cuerpo diferente: alto, delgado y muy guapo, descubrió además que podía habitar ese cuerpo mientras el suyo dormía, y cuando dormía en el cuerpo guapo, simplemente despertaba en el anterior, de esta manera decidió trabajar por las noches usando su cuerpo original e inscribirse en la nueva escuela durante el día usando el cuerpo del chico guapo para evitar los acosos, algo que funcionó, no solo porque nadie lo acosa o lo humilla sino porque además adquirió mucha fuerza y una habilidad impresionante para eludir ataques físicos, de todos modos habitando ese cuerpo "ajeno" él tendrá además la capacidad de ver la vida desde un punto de vista diferente, analizando cada detalle y descubriendo cosas que antes pasaban desapercibidas.

My Opinion/Mi Opinión
On a more pragmatic level, I like the series because it has short episodes that get to the point without getting lost in digressions. It has a simple structure that makes it easy to follow the story. As for the plot, I thought it was very good because, despite not addressing a new topic, it does approach it from several different points of view and also shows it with the necessary reality and rawness so that the audience can identify with the characters in some way and empathize. The series addresses many topics, but mainly the fact of how society treats you based on your appearance and how these prejudices can affect you. Who cares if you have talent for music or art if you're fat, old, or ugly? But from this question, much deeper ones could arise: Why is it so important to be good-looking? Why can't the world at least listen to you? Does being good-looking or rich give you the right to hurt someone just because they aren't?
En el aspecto más pragmático me gusta la serie porque tiene episodios cortos que van al grano sin perderse en divagaciones, tiene una estructura simple que permite seguir la historia con facilidad, y en cuanto a la trama me pareció muy buena, porque a pesar que no maneja un tema nuevo sí lo aborda desde varios puntos de vista diferentes y lo muestra además con la realidad y crudeza necesaria para que la audiencia pueda identificarse de alguna manera con los personajes y puedan empatizar. La serie aborda muchos temas pero principalmente el hecho de como te trata la sociedad según tu apariencia y como estos prejuicios pueden afectarte. ¿A quien le importa si tienes talento para la música o el arte si eres gordo, viejo o feo? pero de esta pregunta podrían derivar otras mucho más profundas: ¿Por qué es tan importante ser guapo(a)? ¿Por qué el mundo no puede al menos escucharte? ¿Ser guapo o rico te da el derecho de herir a alguien solo porque no lo es?
In any case, the series also explores the fact that appearances can be deceiving. If you have been a victim of constant bullying, you may automatically associate someone handsome, tall, and strong with an aggressor. However, this person could be the complete opposite, a kind of vigilante or champion, as is the case with Vasco, a young man who hates bullying and constantly fights to combat it. He empathizes with those who suffer, thus demonstrating that there is superficiality and evil in the world, but there is also empathy and justice.
De todos modos la serie también explora el hecho de que las apariencias engañan, posiblemente si has sido victima de acoso constantemente, cuando veas a alguien guapo, alto y fuerte lo asocies automáticamente con un agresor, pero este podría ser todo lo contrario, una especie de justiciero o paladín, como es el caso de Vasco, un joven que detesta el bullying y lucha constantemente para combatirlo, él empatiza con quienes sufren, demostrando así que en el mundo hay superficialidad y maldad pero también hay empatía y justicia.
Society often prioritizes the superficial over the essential, but this story shows you that every individual, whether beautiful or ugly, tall or short, fat or thin, has feelings, a purpose, and talents that perhaps no one has given them the opportunity to demonstrate due to absurd and useless prejudices.
La sociedad a menudo prioriza lo superficial sobre lo esencial, pero esta historia te demuestra que cada individuo, sea bello o feo, alto o bajo, gordo o flaco tiene sentimientos, tiene un propósito, talentos que quizá nadie les ha dado la oportunidad de demostrar debido a prejuicios absurdos e inútiles.
Hyeong-seok, by looking at life from a position of privilege in his new body, is able to understand that he is not the only one who suffers, that there are other people who are victims of bullying and harassment. He is also able to see the effort his mother makes to provide him with a better life, and in this way his character undergoes an astonishing and enriching development.
Hyeong-seok, al mirar la vida desde una posición de privilegios en su nuevo cuerpo es capaz de comprender que no es el único que sufre, que hay otras personas que son víctimas de intimidación y acoso, también es capaz de ver el esfuerzo que hace su madre por procurarle una vida mejor y de esta manera su personaje va experimentando un desarrollo asombroso y enriquecedor.
It's a series I highly recommend because it has a dynamic and fluid rhythm, so it's impossible to get bored. He leído mucho el nombre de este anime por aquí y por otros lados, pero no sé si verlo. Tal vez y alguno de estos días me dé por echarle un ojo. No soy muy fan de las adaptaciones animadas de manhwas, pero no está mal probar de vez en cuando.

Sí, bueno, la verdad es que esta adaptación es casi igual al manhwa, salvo muy poquitas variaciones que tiene. A mi me encantó.

I think the anime is a bad production the manhwa is a beauty. I don't know why Japan doesn't adapt Korean productions well.
The plot is very good, having the opportunity to change bodies is interesting. Maybe the substance came from here hahahaha. I'll stick with the manhwa I tried to watch the anime and I didn't like it. It felt childish.
I respect your opinion but I really don't agree, I don't find it childish at all, in fact it goes very well with the manhwa, the story doesn't decorate the bullying, on the contrary, it shows it explicitly, just as the graphic version does, and in fact in the manhwa it starts like that, like a school drama, but later on the gangs join with the four big teams, only the adaptation was 8 episodes long and didn't have time to get there, also the production of this "anime" Well, it's not really an anime, is Korean, not Japanese, it was specifically produced by studio mir, from South Korea. Therefore, to say that this is a bad adaptation or animation would be to affirm that Koreans do not know how to portray themselves in their productions.
I saw it long ago and it's one of my favourite anime I was waiting for season 2 I don't know if it released or not now you remember me so I look into it. Wonderful post 👍
