The Walking Dead (The ones who live) Review
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week, today I want to share with you the excitement of watching the first two episodes of "The One Who Live" the series that follows the life of Rick and Michonne. Ahhhhhh 😄 🤗 😄 I loved this couple since the base series, I always wanted them to get together, so when Rick left the main series I was always hoping to see the reunion and finally we WATCHED it and it was... I don't know how to explain it, so let's start with the first episode....
Espero que hayan pasado un maravilloso fin de semana y que hayan tenido un inicio de semana estupendo, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes la emoción que embarga el haber visto los dos primeros episodios de "The One Who Live" la serie que desarrolla la vida de Rick y Michonne. Ahhhhhh 😄 🤗 😄 yo amaba esta pareja desde la serie base, siempre quise que se juntaran, así que cuando Rick salió de la serie principal siempre tuve la esperanza de ver el reencuentro y finalmente lo VIMOS y fue... no sé como explicarlo, así que comencemos con el primer episodio...
Honestly I think the first episode summarized in a formidable way what was Rick's life during his 10 years of absence from Alexandria, that is, since he disappeared after the destruction of the bridge, you can see that the team of the series worked every gear so that everything made sense and nothing was left out, we notice the frustration of the character in his failed attempts to escape, we even see the attempts he had to communicate with Michonne, leaving his trail so that she could find him. The only point that I can see as negative is the absurdity of how Rick lost his hand, it made no sense to cut it off when it was obvious that there was a thousand chances of him being caught, in the comic it made much more sense, a compelling reason, he didn't cut it off himself, the governor mutilated it after a long interrogation.
Honestamente creo que el primer episodio resumió de una manera formidable lo que fue la vida de Rick durante sus 10 años de ausencia de Alejandría, es decir, desde que desapareció tras la destrucción del puente, se nota que el equipo de la serie trabajó cada engranaje para que todo tuviera sentido y nada quedara por fuera, notamos la frustración del personaje en sus intentos fallidos de fuga, incluso vemos los intentos que tuvo de comunicarse con Michonne, dejando su rastro para que ella pudiera encontrarlo. El único punto que puedo resultar como negativo es el hecho absurdo de como Rick perdió su mano, no tenía sentido cortársela cuando era obvio que había mil posibilidades de que lo atraparan, en el comic tuvo muchísimo más sentido, una razón de peso, no se la cortó el mismo, el gobernador lo mutiló luego de un largo interrogatorio.
I liked how they showed us Rick's evolution, how his impulsive and rebellious nature gradually gave way to reason, until he understood that if he really wanted to get out of there he had to stick to the rules of that new community, he never gave up in his efforts to free himself, but let's say he learned to have patience to achieve a goal. In that new community being an "A", that is, a leader, meant death, because that new system wants to keep control of everything, Rick learned to be a "B", or rather, he learned to pretend to be a "B", that is, a submissive person who is willing to follow the rules, not to impose them, this would give him time and also the necessary tools to become stronger.
Me gustó como nos plantearon la evolución de Rick, como su naturaleza por demás impulsiva y rebelde se fue doblegando ante la razón, hasta comprender que si de verdad quería salir de allí debía apegarse a las normas de esa nueva comunidad, nunca desistió en su empeño por liberarse, pero digamos que aprendió a tener paciencia para lograr un objetivo. En esa nueva comunidad ser un "A" es decir, un líder, significaba morir, porque ese nuevo sistema desea mantener el control de todo, Rick aprendió a ser una "B", o mejor dicho, aprendió a fingir ser una "B" ósea, una persona sumisa que está dispuesta a seguir normas, no a imponerlas, esto le daría tiempo y además las herramientas necesarias para volverse más fuerte.
But if I liked the first episode, I liked the second one titled "Gone" even more, it was simply epic, we see everything Michonne had to do to reunite with Rick, but what I would like to highlight the most about this episode were the performances, the actors who played Michonne's new friends (the ones she met along the way) did a great job, especially the one who played Nat, because in just one episode he stole the audience's heart and made everyone regret what happened to him, why? Because there was good character development, the script was very well written and he gave an excellent performance.
Pero si me gustó el primer episodio, el segundo titulado "Gone" me gustó todavía más, fue simplemente épico, vemos todo lo que Michonne tuvo que hacer para reencontrarse con Rick, pero lo que más me gustaría resaltar de este episodio fueron las actuaciones, los actores que interpretaron a los nuevos amigos de Michonne (los que encontró en el camino) hicieron un grandioso trabajo, en especial quien interpretó a Nat, ya que en un solo episodio se robó el corazón de la audiencia y logró que todo el mundo lamentara lo que sucedió con él ¿Por qué? pues porque hubo un buen desarrollo de su personaje, el guion estuvo muy bien escrito y él hizo una excelente interpretación
But the most epic moment was that wonderful reunion, honestly the performance of Andrew and Danai transmitted many things, you really feel that they are two people who have not seen each other in years, you feel the same emotion of the characters, and even the same surprise, even though as a viewer you sense that both will meet again, I think what helps a lot to generate all this load of feelings is the fact that Andrew had a long time out of The Walking Dead, so it is easy for us to identify with Michonne.
Pero el momento más épico fue ese maravilloso reencuentro, honestamente la actuación de Andrew y Danai transmitió muchas cosas, de verdad sientes que son dos personas que no se han visto en años, sientes la misma emoción de los personajes, e incluso hasta la misma sorpresa, a pesar de que como espectador intuyes que ambos se reencontrarán, creo que lo que ayuda mucho a generar toda esta carga de sentimientos es el hecho de que Andrew tenía muchísimo tiempo fuera de The Walking Dead, así que es fácil que nos identifiquemos con Michonne.
On the other hand, the scene is very well structured since while Michonne fights and tries to kill that "stranger" we begin to see alternating scenes of her life in Alexandria, it is like an allegory to her desire for revenge against this new organization that has caused havoc. , spreading poisonous gases, separating families and... possibly (according to what she believed) they could be responsible for Rick's death, but when she takes off his helmet and realizes that this "stranger" is Rick, her gaze It is an absolute surprise, as if he were living a dream from which he does not want to wake up. You assume that he also felt panic that he had been about to kill him. Then they both look at each other with tenderness, with joy and even with disbelief. I don't know. It's a very emotional moment, very beautiful, perfectly accompanied by the music, but the cherry on the cake was that phrase "I found you."
Por otra parte la escena está muy bien estructurada ya que mientras Michonne pelea e intenta matar a ese "desconocido" comenzamos a ver escenas alternadas de su vida en Alejandría, es como una alegoría a sus deseos de venganza contra esa nueva organización que ha causado estragos, esparciendo gases venenosos, separando familias y... posiblemente (según lo que ella creía) podían ser los responsables de la muerte de Rick, pero cuando ella le quita el casco y se da cuenta de que ese "desconocido" es Rick, su mirada es de absoluta sorpresa, como si estuviese viviendo un sueño del que no quiere despertar, supones que también sintió pánico de haber estado a punto de matarlo, entonces ambos se miran con ternura, con alegría y hasta con incredulidad, no lo sé, es un momento muy emotivo, muy hermoso, perfectamente acompañado por la música, pero la cereza del pastel fue esa frase "I found you" (Te encontré).
I was absolutely satisfied with these first two episodes, now we just need to see how this couple will manage to survive in this new place under the watchful eye of Jadis Ahhhh! I hate this woman. The series is taking a very interesting direction and is just getting started, but there are already signs that something epic is coming when all the communities that make up this wonderful TWD franchise finally come together.
Quedé absolutamente satisfecha con estos dos primeros episodios, ahora solo falta ver como se las arreglará esta pareja para sobrevivir en este nuevo lugar bajo la atenta mirada de Jadis Ahhhh! odio a esta mujer. La serie va tomando un rumbo muy interesante y apenas va empezando, pero ya hay indicios de que se viene algo épico cuando finalmente se unan todas las comunidades que conforman esta maravillosa franquicia TWD.

Lo que se extraño al personaje de Rick, yo quedé maravillada con este regreso y lo hermoso del encuentro entre ellos dos. La verdad es que lograron trasmitir muy bien las emociones del momento. No tengo más que ansias por los próximos capítulos y ojalá hacía el final podamos ver un reencuentro con la familia completa (los niños)
Sí, lo extrañé muchísimo por esa razón ese reencuentro fue soñado y ÉPICO, de verdad me encantó, yo también sueño con ese reencuentro con los niños.
Yo todavía no he terminado de ver la serie principal y cada vez veo que existen nuevas series, jaja, a este paso nunca voy a estar al día. Ahora hablando en serio, debo decir que me llama poderosamente la atención ver esta, me gustó mucho tu reseña.

Te recomiendo continuar la serie base hasta el final y de esta forma podrás seguir con los Spin-off. por ahora podrías omitir el el Daryl y el de Maggie con Negan pero este The one who live de Rick y Michonne es imperdible, de verdad te sientes como en la mejor época de TWD 😉

Bueno a mí me pareció algo lenta el primer episodio, pero básicamente la serie ha sido asi, en la mayoría de sus temporadas, con algunos capítulos, de igual forma, uno queda allí, esperando como continúa esta historia, sin duda este encuentro entre estos dos, fue épico, lo que se esperaba, y la muerte de nat, eso me dolió jaja, no me gusto, pero bueno, toca seguir esperando, como sigue esto.
Claro, es que el primer episodio debía explicar a detalle que fue de la vida de Rick durante esos 10 años, así que a mi me pareció genial, lo único que realmente me pareció fuera de lugar fue el hecho de como perdió la mano, fue absurdo, del resto todo genial, muero por ver que sucede más adelante.
